I also have been reading these forums for days, particular this thread and similar threads.
After 40 + pages I think it's time we update the issues list a little with common issues we are seeing. I'm only going to add issues we've seen posted multiple times, not posted once or twice. After reading all these posts here's what I have come up with...
(Note: They're not in any specific order, I just wanted to compile a list and I'm not going to describe the issue in depth as most people know what the problem is.)
- DL Pass Rush (Doesn't exist)
Again, I'm not seeing this as much on Heisman. It's important to note I only play safety, but floating around and taking the 1st/2nd options away from the cpu definitely creates pressure and sacks. I can see this being a huge issue for guys playing on the D-Line.
- Punt & Kick Returns (Way too easy - CPU & Human)
Agreed. No question.
- Penalties (Virtually no penalties)
I've seen penalties online. Usually 1-2 a game. So I cannot say they're not called. On Dynasty, not seeing them as frequent.
- CPU Passing Percentage/Accuracy (High QB completion percentage's, few incompletions, far too accurate).
Again, look no further than my write-ups on playing as anyone on the D-Line. The cpu QB will have high %'s due to not having the 1st/2nd options taken away on a regular basis. No one may like it, but it's a dead fact you must get off the D-Line to enjoy this game on Heisman.
- CPU Deep Ball (CPU rarely goes deep)
I'm not seeing this as much, but I have seen it a few times per game while playing Safety. Needs to be adjusted though I'll go ahead and agree.
- DB Aggressiveness/Awareness (DB's lack in aggressiveness and act incompetent of where the ball carrier is or is headed & don't "attack" the ball carrier).
Always been a problem IMO. The college game has been way too easy for years. This goes hand and hand as to what I've been preaching for many posts now. If you play on the D-Line, the cpu awareness will continually get beat as it's up to YOU, the user to make plays on defense. You cannot win on the D-Line. It's a domino effect.
- Players in Pursuit Aggressiveness/Awareness (Players pursuing the ball carrier slow down or turn the wrong way)
This appears to be downright bad. There are plenty of video highlights to show this being true. Agreed.
- CPU Snapping (CPU Constantly snapping at the same time on the play clock, almost immediately after getting to the line of scrimmage, rarely taking their time snapping).
The need to take more time. Agreed. I would also like to see checkoffs and audibles. Why not?
- CPU Down/Distance Recognition (CPU will go for it on 4th & 5 at the midfield)
Again, the cpu has shown the ability to not be smart, and it's more apparent when watching the cpu QB. The decisions they are making are simply not good intelligent. It's too unpredictable and the game is too easy.
- Player Ratings (Some of the ratings don't matter at all)
Not sure here. If the cpu A.I. made better decisions and the pursuit angles were better, I'd have more of an opinion.

Again, my complaints are basically what I've stated above, but I must add the ability to not be able to configure the controller settings as my #1 complaint above all of these, as it's never been this way before.
I also feel the game is simply way too easy. It appears to be the easiest Heisman difficulty setting I've seen in years, if not ever.
