Have never ever found any game early in Upstate NY/Syracuse. Would love to hear if someone has.

Any luck in the Memphis metro area (including N. Mississippi)? I'm willing to go to Jackson if there's any luck there as well..

I'm going to check some places in the Cordova area today.

Yeah I give up...gamefly it is sometime next week. You would think it would be worth it to these smaller chains to quietly sell these early. I know they have them, some of the store admitted it before following up with, "oh it's not out till the 15th".

I had one play tell me they had 9, and then I was wary. I followed up with, "how much". It was about 20 min away, so I wanted to make sure, so I followed up with "where are you located" (even though I knew). It was then she told me to hold on, and said it's not out till the 15th...better than driving 20-30 minutes and then being told no. Regardless of what they tell you on the phone, they aren't going to sell it to me when I get there.

If these smaller shops would quietly sell the game early, it would get them business they wouldn't usually get. But they decide to stick to their guns, and they will end up fading away after not making ends meet for 6 months to a year.

Exactly and what is EA going to do, not sell them the game? They aren't going to give that money up. If EA didn't sell them the game any more, it wouldn't matter too much for the mom and pops because usually the small shops only get 5-10 anyways.
