3) does it feel too arcadey with all the spins and jukes you can do?
4) Do the good teams feel good and bad teams feel bad?
5) any stupid other glitches? money plays?
6) does the CPU run the ball effectively or attempt to establish the run (if they are a running team)

That is all for now, thanks guys and enjoy!
1. i wouldn't know because i can't get the rosters loaded! ARGH! I need help loading the rosters (360)!

2. can't help you here

3. def. does not feel too arcadey, feels great in how the controls are finally very 100% responsive!

4. oh yes, huge difference in teams (finally!)

5. just the punt block is hosed up, nearly always good for a 30 yard return

6. the cpu is great at trying to run, it will try a LOT...as for how good it is, it depends...when they were wisconsin and vtech they ran all over me (as ohio state and UCLA) but other times they've tried to run on me (michigan) and i've shut them down (ohio state) completely....

i can't stress enough how great it is that teams TRY to play like their real life counterparts now. it's huge IMO if you like to play the CPU. just wish the CPU would manage the clock better and take more shots deep when it has an advantage. otherwise the cpu is quite good on offense.

OMG hell yes!! it def. has it's issues but it's the most fun since 2004, adam was right! if you're a defensive minded guy you will probably hate it because it's def. an offensive minded game, but i'm really enjoying the hell out of it!!

Punt returns could be. Playing against arkansas, the AI was way to easy to shake but then again it was Trindon Holliday.

i 100% agree, kick returns are a minor issue IMO...they should be tweaked..punt returns though need major work IMO

Re: Official NCAA Impressions Thread (360, PS3)

one thing i love is it appears that no matter what level you play on there are no speed cheats. i was on heisman and playing with texas tech and man when crabtree gets a step, PEACE OUT!!! just seems realistic. the game has it's faults, but hell it is a video game, even with the faults it is hella fun to play and that is all that really matters to me...

Game 4: Texas vs CPU Texas Tech. McCoy throws three picks. Harrell throws four.

That's 19 CPU interceptions thrown in four games. Zero of these interceptions are user picks. Difficulty is Heisman 8 minute quarters with interception sliders at 0.

I'm extremely disappointed to say the least. I'll hold off judgment until I get more time w/ the game but it isn't looking good. Time to go to work, I'll be back in about ten hours with more impressions.

EDIT: I don't mean for my post to be totally negative, the INT issue just irks me. Player control is great, graphics are better and playbooks are awesome. Roster sharing is fantastic.
i don't know what the heck you're doing but you're the only one seeing int's like this...i know i am not...i don't see any others either..maybe it's just your style of play. if anything the criticism of this game is the qb's are too accurate to hit their WR's, not throwing INT's..

i know you're absolutely dying to say there are a lot of major issues with the game (aren't you the guy who said slip screens would ruin everything?) but the simple fact is that the game is great, yes it's got some things wrong with it but no game is perfect. i don't know what your agenda is honestly but your comments are duly noted.

I just played Florida, got stomped by 30 points, but I wanted to point out that the AI does a GREAT job of utilizing Percy Harvin. He was EVERYWHERE...in the backfield, at receiver, etc. Very nice. UF is disgusting in this game...ESPECIALLY considering the lack of ability to get pressure. My DBs just could not stay with all those 95 speed receivers running around for 5 seconds or more.
Is the QB AI actually insane or does it just benefit from not having to deal with pressure? In the demo it seemed like the QB AI wasn't particularly enhanced over last year's it just seemed like the QB's ability was amplified by the ineffectiveness to cause any pressure on him. I think the biggest thing the past few years with QB's is that the AI simply couldn't make smart decisions when facing any pressure and the play calling AI wouldn't adapt to a defense bringing a lot of pressure so the QB would be stuck still trying to execute standard pass plays.

I think part of it related to the receiver play not developing quickly enough relative to the pass rush. It seemed to cause the QB to just throw the ball up instead of making a smart decision like stepping up into the pocket or escaping the pocket, or plain just throwing it away or to a safety valve in the flats.

Any comparisons to the demo? Any thoughts on Heisman vs All American, or better yet, anyone who is playing Heisman who thinks its playable? I usually go Heisman and every year i hear people say it cheats more than All American and blah blah blah, but ive never heard it this early. Any thoughts are welcome.

to me heisman feels "fair". if you have a mismatch with a wideout on a corner for example, you can exploit it whether you are playing on freshman or heisman. granted i have played only about half a dozen games or so to this point but i think heisman definitely seems playable...
