There were 2 penalties called the entire game and Ohio State had 12 sacks against me. At one point about midway thru the 3rd, Ohio State had 9 sacks and 8 hurries against Cantwell. Man, it wasn't fun. I am going back to playing the smaller schools.

Wow!! That's all I have to say.

well, after licking my wounds from the beat down I suffered at the hands of Ohio State, I decided to play another game, this time against Wake Forest. Things weren't as bad as before but they weren't all that much better. Wake beat me pretty soundly 37-17.

I was actually up 14-0 after the 1st quarter after Cantwell hit Long on a deep fly pattern coming off a PA pass on the very first play of the game. Later in the 1st, Powell rattled off 32 yard run on a draw play.

But Wake didn't lay down and put a drive together of 16 plays for 78yds that ate up 5:46 of the game clock. They scored on a beautiful fake HB dive play at the goal line and Skinner rolled to his left, found no one and just walked into the endzone. Wake then tied the game after Cantwell was hit and lost the ball and Patterson picked up the fumble and scored. 14-14 at half.

Wake returned the opening kick of the 2nd half back to the house to go up 21-14. After 3 series of punts, 2 for me, 1 for Wake, they put together another lengthy drive that ate up the 3rd quarter and scored on a 11yd TD run from Adams. 28-14 now Wake. They went on to punch home 3 field goals, including one with 5 seconds to go in the game and the only thing that I could come up with was fg myself.

Once again, I took it on the chin but had a blast doing so, if thats possible.

I wouldn't say lull me to sleep. When you play as UofL with their defense, anything is bound to happen.

But yes, Skinner dinked and dunked the ball pretty much down the field. They took 6 shots deep (ball in air 25+ yards) but only completed one. But they really worked off the play action very well. Even though they were down 14-0 going into the second quarter, they still continued to establish the run to set up the pass which I thought was great. They never seemed to panic and stay composed and got themselves back into the game.

It was quite and entertaining game and you could see the momentum shift from us to them. Also, the crowd went from dead to electric, especially after the kickoff return to open up the second half.

I love this game.

can someone clear up the scheduling issues in dynasty for me?

i think i remember adam saying that they were off in the second year but correct afterwards. also, do conference schedules rotate correctly?

my buddy is playing through a dynasty right now and yes, the schedules are off in the 2nd year but "correct" themselves for the 3rd year and beyond.

I can only speak thru second hand information because I have not played through a dynasty yet myself.
