Official NCAA Impressions Thread (360, PS3)

I've only played one game vs. my friend. FSU(me) vs. Maryland (him)

Nothing really jumps out it was on AA default sliders. I threw one pick. I hit the wrong button. There were 2 fumbles both on big hits.

The screens weren't killers. I ran 4 only had sucess on 1, got 18 yards, another resulted in a safety.

He threw 3 ints, but 2 were user picks. Running game was pretty good. I ran the ball 14 times with Smith he averaged 4.1 yards per carry. He ran 11 times with Scott averaged 4 yards per. We only played on 5 minute quarters so there wasn't a chance to get a real flow.

I was 12/23 153 yards 1 TD. I wasn't able to hook up on any deep passes they were well covered. I had 2 drops.

Overall the game played really well. I liked it a lot. Gonna go back and play the cpu a few times see how that goes. I'm watching NFL live right now, because of the Favre news. I will play after that.

I try to press A to swat the ball, but I'm too used to hitting Y to intercept. If you guys are better than me at hitting A instead of Y, INT TDs won't be a big deal for you.

i have the game and have some result's from dynasty mode. just waiting for mod to give me the ok and i will let you guys know what's going on. one thing though i know alot of us loved the 2k5 series football and this game comes very close to being there.(not trying to start a discussion dont mean any disrespect, just wanted to let you guys know the deal).

I was able to edit three, and then 20+ teams before it hit. Until then, I recommend people working on PS3 rosters save in several locations after editing each team - perhaps on two USB drives, alternating on each drive after editing each team - until this issue is resolved. I am hoping this is a local problem (maybe something on my system doesn't sit well with the roster save) and not widespread, but I am not optimistic after these developments. If I hear anything, I will post in this thread. Again, I hate to be the bearer of bad news and I am as disappointed as anyone.

i had alot of pick 6's but there diff from last yr. last yr seemed like once u had the ball you couldnt be brought down..almost god like..

i havent seen any stupid pck 6's thi yr....all of them have been legit retuns

Wolverines are in for some rough times. I started up a Dynasty with Pasta Rosters. We aren't very good, mid-level at best. So I figured I'd do a Create A Player of my son. I made him good, but not great. He wants to play for OSU and Penn State. I'm #5 on his list. So I went into recruiting and there aren't many 4 or 5 stars that are really interested. Most that are have me at number 3. You'll be able to get some decent QB talent and RB. But Defense is meh on the talent tip. Of course this is with my auto-generated recruits. I wonder how they were able to code a dislike for Rich Rod off the rip? Brilliant!

Damn ODogg you didn't waste any time. I got home from the spot with the game, had to wait for Countryboy who running about 30 minutes behind me. Gonna give it a whirl after I go walk around the corner Ty & Extreme Makeovers Home Edition are rebuildng the neighbors home a street in back of ours. It's like a Circus in our neighborhood with all the filming crews. They ripped the house down in roughly 20-30 minutes, now back to what's really important. "Just Kidding" It's great what's happening for that family. I'm off to plaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyy!!!!

thanks for the impressions guys, i got the game at 4pm est. i'm gonna load up around 6 and get going. gotta get the rosters from padre and then will try and post impressions of my own.. gooooooooooooooo Irish..
