Maybe I haven't played enough games yet, since I just rented NCAA this morning, but I haven't seen the problems that some people are mentioning. In the game I just played, ( 6 minute quarters, default sliders and on All-American) I played as Oregon and I beat Washington 31 - 0. I had 4 sacks and 3 interceptions. The CPU qb had a completion % that was just under 60%.

NCAA 09 is better than last years version. The players seem much more responsive than last year (I have a PS3). The animations and graphics are also improved. Having said that, I'll play this until the end of my rental period before I decide if it merits a purchase. With work and family obligations, I don't have enough time to play both this and Madden during the fall and winter. At this point, I'm still leaning towards waiting for Madden 09.

I'm really loving the game right now, especially the fluidity of the runningbacks. But then again I was one of the few who loved 80, so take my opinion with a tiny grain of salt.

DT's rosters are working great for me. This is the first time I've ever had fully named rosters and it makes the first few years of dynasty so much more enjoyable.

Glad to see there are a few others on these boards enjoying the game. Nearly every post I see is negative, but I feel like I got my money's worth.

I know that's a typo but was NCAA 80 for Atari?

You're right, i have been, but now that i got it, i love it. I finished up a game as FSU against Ole Miss. Won 31-17, dont remember exact stats, but i KNOW I had 3 sacks (they had 4, my fault). They ran 30 or 31 times for 131, i ran 29 times for 143. Their Qb was something like 22 of 36 (61%) for 243 yds, 2 TD 1 INT (i was something like 22 of 30 for 3 TD 2 INT).

Game felt very good. The two INT on my part were idiotic mistakes. I tried to go deep to Carr once and into double coverage (duh).

Im loving this game. Im on Heisman, close to default except i jacked up CPU run game. Im still seeing some issues, and the middle routes are easier to cmplete than the edge routes, but i feel like can shut CPU downa nd force them to check down. loving it......back for one more game, then bed, but ill be posting at work tomorrow!

After reading so many negative reactions to this game I can say I am very happy with my purchase. Sure there are some issues but it's nothing a patch won't fix.

i gota say i for one enjoy this game alot...i love the stadium sounds and the gameplay

i love online espically when you find good players who dont cheat

i hate to see negativity to scare ppl away from getting a pretty solid game, but i guess to his their own.

i guess im just fortunate to get a good version...o well i will continue to have fun playing this game and late august cant get here any closer
