5 yrs ago when people would think of next gen, they would think it would be basically real life lol. i guess people over hyped next gen, and didnt realize they would basically have to redo everything. its pretty much a huge bummer.

i wouldnt mind if they took a year off on this game. and instead of making a game for next yr, spend 2 yrs on 2011. then they would have time to add about everything. and we can just settle for madden or something. i think it would be a great idea.

It would be nice if they did but it's all about money and there's no way they'll even think about that. They'll lose millions.

Been discussed. Sounds good, but then you gotta realize EA has to forgo the profits they'd make on 2010.

personally i think they deserve the losses from 2010. if they want respect back this would get it. plus they would also have something great to build on for the rest of the generation. i understand its a business and its money, but lately EA is all about $.....

well the whole point is to not make it suck. if u had 2 yrs to do somthing it better not suck or u just suck at your job.

These people aren't making a game out of the goodness of their heart. Their making a game to make money. This money employs people like OMT and secures dividends to the owners of the stock. I really don't get it - holding hands and butterfly kisses don't make the world go 'round, money does.

Here's a better idea. Don't buy 2010, and then when you get 2011, you'll have 2 years of improvements, anyway.

I don't understand the "2 year development cycle" argument one bit. If you want 2 years of improvements, only buy it every two years. It's not rocket science...
