All Uniforms in NCAA Football 09

Ya I agree. Throwbacks would be one of the tightest features easports could add to NCAA 2010. Hawaii rainbow warriors throwbacks, West Virginia throwbacks, Georgia Tech the list goes on and on. Throwbacks need to be incorporated into the game or at least available to download!!!

I would pay an obscene amount of cash if a major throwback collection was available for download. Are you listening, OMT? Bro, if you could somehow bring this up to some of the higher ups (and mention the possibility for additional income for not a whole lot of work) I think we could work something out.

Hell man, I'd even write a letter to your superior and fight for a raise on your behalf. If the community got behind this idea (and the raise idea) I think we could make some noise to the EA higher ups. It's a win-win deal for everyone.

that would be nice, but Adam has already said that downloaded content(not talking about patches, they work differently) will not be available at all for '09(I'm guessing its not even built into the game to allow it). he also said that he doesn't want to put in retro/throwbacks until after all(or at least most) of the alternates are in the game.

so depending on the budget(and/or time) the "higher ups" give him, it could be a while.

Psshhh...EA has money to burn. Give OMT a couple hundred grand and let him go to town! It's not like a 100K would hurt EA, ya know?

Plus all of the money they would make back from the downloads would gain them cash.

I understand Adam can't help this any and is probably fed up with this jibber jabber, but what the hell, right?

Just pay the man, EA. Let him do his thing. Even next year.

So happy to see alternate uni's back in the game. I can't wait to bust out FSU's Unconquered all blacks for a big home game every year! They even added Minnesota's! I cannot wait for this game to come out, i've played the demo about 10 times, hopefully I can get my hands on a copy early.

Is there any chance Georgia Tech's new uniforms and combinations made it into the game? I believe they are wearing white shirts with gold pants at home now with the uni having a different look.

When they were with Nike they did. When they switched to adidas they killed the maroon pants. I haven't seen them wear maroon pants with the Adidas uniforms.

What teams were shorted alternates? I know I missed the silver A&M pants, that was an oversight on my part. But none of the teams that didn't get an alternate are very popular or have anything interesting. UTEP got alts cause they have an orange alternate jersey. Marshall didn't get alts because they are just mix and match.

So let me know who you think shouldn't have gotten shorted and why?

Right. We won't have to scrap these since there is no way we are changing player models again! IF I can get the green light on mix and match uniforms, then I think we can add maybe 5 jerseys and 10 pants next year (plus changing anything that has changed in real life of course, like Minnesota and UAB's new uniforms) and we will be 100% complete on FBS alternates, including ones that teams don't wear!
