Yeah, we got the pride stickers on there in 09. I can only go off of what I have in reference. They wore the mixed more than the solids last year. Remember, there are 120 schools in the game and I'm not able to read every article to find the ones where the coach says something like that. It is the same situation where allegedly Urban Meyer said Florida would never wear Orange pants.

Is it grey or silver though? I need to pick one.

I have logo sheets from most of the schools, and Ole Miss has their red listed as "UM Red," not crimson.

I would say silver because grey is usually more of a dull color
And on the crimson note, I was referring to Kansas. Our colors are crimson and blue. Crimson or red it doesn't really matter though... everyone will know what you're referring to

I had a few questions (sorry, I only breezed through the ten pages).

Is there a certain number of uniforms that a team can hold in the database? The Hurricanes lack the white/white, but have the white/green as an alt. Although they do have green pants, they haven't worn them yet with this current set, but they have done the white/white. I'm pretty sure that Florida lacked the white/white combo in the database, but has worn that combo. Florida State seems to get the (un)conquered set in, but lacks the white pants they broke out. Clemson is another one with some options missing.

Do you really only get one home, one away, one home alt, one away alt? Why? It looks as if FSU is the only team with two home alts, but it replaces an away. I remember a few years ago, Miami's white/white and one of BC's dark unis were in the wrong place. It would wear Miami's white at home and BC's dark on the road.

What is the timetable for a uniform to make it in the game? There are a few teams with new unis that haven't revealed yet. There is a rumor (I've seen the mockup, but hopefully it's just a rumor but baseball and basketball have done this) that Miami will have a black jersey for a game. Ugh. If that happens and it makes it into the game next year, would it replace an alt or could we have a few more options?

Why can't schools that mix/match choose the shirt with a different pant? Is that something with programming?

I really like this site and I don't want to pimp another site, but sportslogos.net has a TON of info. There are people on that site that are privvy to style guides and pantone colors of many schools and professional teams.

Not to nitpick, but I believe Pitt wore gold/gold on senior night if my memory serves me correctly.

Thanks in advance and thanks for the list!! Sorry for the long post.
I've answered most of these before, but I'll do it again for a fellow uniform junkie

1. The number of uniforms isn't held back by the database but by the art budget. We have a finite amount of time to put in all the new art, make updates, and fix bugs. To create a new uniform, you're looking at about 4 hours. I was given a budget of 50 alternates to add, which is 200 hours of initial work. Then we had to fix errors, get them approved by the school, stuff like that.

2. There was some method to my maddness. I have a list of like 200 or so alternates and could only pick 50. There has been a lot of disagreement with the alts I choose and left out on the boards, and that was expected. You can't please everyone.

3. Miami will have the black jersey in game IF it actually exists. I haven't been convinced it does yet. I'll believe it when they wear it.

4. Yes, you can't mix match because of the workflow for getting the uniforms in game and how they are rendered on the player model. We are investigating the benefit of changing the workflow for 2010, but it could still get cut so I won't make promises.

5. I've seen that site before. Logos aren't an issue. I can NOT use logos from the internet under any circumstances. I have to use the logos approved and provided by the schools or their licensing company. Pantone colors do not translate into a video game. I believe pantones are thread colors, where we use RGB values. And even when you put the correct RGB on the uniform, once you put it in the environment and subject it to different lighting conditions, it will not look the right color. We spend a lot of time tuning the colors (go back to answer #1).

6. I only have pictures Pitt wearing the gold jersey last year against Rutgers, but they had the blue pants on. I have them wearing all gold against Louisville in 2006, but those were a different uniform all together.

Just like Ole Miss, their logo sheet says "Jayhawk Red." But I'll update the list to Crimson.

Tenn: white/black
Ark: white/black

Ok, I guess you were right. Their both good looking jerseys but, we are undefeated in the white/garnets and are defeated in the white/blacks. So lets make a deal South Carolina wins 9 games this year I think were definently deserving of having both our aways anything less you decide if you have time. Lol

Sure. I'm in a good mood. But I'm not going to open the flood gates to posting screenshots for everyone!

Adam, thanks for the list and for all your hard work. You answered all of the questions I had in the above post, but I just wanted to say as a hardcore Florida State fan, I would like to see the white jersey/garnet pants (with white socks, pulled all the way up to the knees) come back for next year's version. These are worn often on road games. (Picture Below)

If you have to make a cut, let the all-black "Unconquered" uni's go (since we always lose in them, much like the all-white uni's). I'm looking forward to playing a few home games in the all-black, but I could live without them, as well as the all-white verison. I may get overruled by other FSU fans, but I thought I'd just put my 2 cents in, in case you have to decide on different combos next year.

Thanks again!

Nope, you can't please everyone. But you'd probably please more people if you had spread the alts out more evenly instead of giving 7 teams two sets of alternates when you didn't even include 1 set for a lot of teams.
