UAB: Green/White
ECU: Green/White
Houston: White/Green
Rice: Green/White

Season before last:

UCF: Green/White
SMU: White/Green
UTEP: All Green
Tennessee: White/Green
W Virginia: White/Green
Memphis: All Green
Kansas State: White/Green

So for 11 games I had reference for, they wore white/green combos. For the other 5, they wore all white or all green. I have only seen them wear all white once.

It is clear they don't wear them for only 2 games a season. I'll even go back farther. In the 05 season, they wore green/white combos against Virgina Tech, Kansas State, UCF, SMU, and Southern Miss. They wore all green againt Tulane and UAB. In the 04 season, I have them wearing white/green combos against Georgia, Troy State, and Ohio State. I have one photo of two guys in all green but can't tell the opponent.

With all this photo reference to go by, and the school approving the white/green combos, I don't see any reason to put them in All Green or All White as primary uniforms. To me, those are alts.
The all green and the all white are definitely alternates. When Coach Snyder took over, he decided to not wear them as much as the former coach did. He did bring some award stickers with him this past season though (a buffalo horn I believe). I do believe this is the first time in Marshall history to have award stickers.

You are correct with Kansas sir.
We wear the same gray/silver pants for all three jerseys: blue (home), white (away), crimson (alternate)

*If you want to be technical the "red" color Kansas used is acutally "crimson".. so you guys could change that if you wish but it's not a huge deal*

Agreed and Adam's list looks right to me based on the photos linked at http://herdzone.cstv.com/sports/m-fo...otbl-body.html.

Re: All Uniforms in NCAA Football 09

Wow, this is a great list. I'm a huge uniform buff. I collect them, etc. I'm probably what you would call as obsessive with them. I (had to re-register but oh well) was the one who posted what was wrong with every uniform on Madden last year down to the wrong trim color, wrong socks, etc.

I had a few questions (sorry, I only breezed through the ten pages).

Is there a certain number of uniforms that a team can hold in the database? The Hurricanes lack the white/white, but have the white/green as an alt. Although they do have green pants, they haven't worn them yet with this current set, but they have done the white/white. I'm pretty sure that Florida lacked the white/white combo in the database, but has worn that combo. Florida State seems to get the (un)conquered set in, but lacks the white pants they broke out. Clemson is another one with some options missing.

Do you really only get one home, one away, one home alt, one away alt? Why? It looks as if FSU is the only team with two home alts, but it replaces an away. I remember a few years ago, Miami's white/white and one of BC's dark unis were in the wrong place. It would wear Miami's white at home and BC's dark on the road.

What is the timetable for a uniform to make it in the game? There are a few teams with new unis that haven't revealed yet. There is a rumor (I've seen the mockup, but hopefully it's just a rumor but baseball and basketball have done this) that Miami will have a black jersey for a game. Ugh. If that happens and it makes it into the game next year, would it replace an alt or could we have a few more options?

Why can't schools that mix/match choose the shirt with a different pant? Is that something with programming?

I really like this site and I don't want to pimp another site, but sportslogos.net has a TON of info. There are people on that site that are privvy to style guides and pantone colors of many schools and professional teams.

Not to nitpick, but I believe Pitt wore gold/gold on senior night if my memory serves me correctly.

Thanks in advance and thanks for the list!! Sorry for the long post.

you guys should totally team up with lowes, go get one of the jerseys and use their color match thing. They can match any color.

I've been told that this is harder to do than you think, although I remember (and I may be mistaken, so don't hold me to this) there was a Madden where you could mix and match jerseys and pants. The socks sometimes would be off, but you could choose nearly any combination that you wanted.

By the way, have you heard of Chris Creamer and his boards? That might be a great place for you and your uniform hobby. Very active logo and uniform community.

the reason is that the jersey and pants are together, they cannot be separated. I guess it would take a lot of work to get pants and jerseys separated.

Re: All Uniforms in NCAA Football 09

Thanks for posting the list, but I don't understand why you all gave some teams 2 sets of alternates and none at all to others who have alts.

For instance, Texas A&M has worn maroon on maroon and white on white for years. How can you miss that? You've even had it in your game every year until last year (when you had no alts).

That's where I get most of my info. That's the link I put in my last post. sportslogos.net I suggest anyone with uniform obsession (like me) to check it out.
