Yes. Finally a ps3 exclusive feature. (Don't mean to start a console arguement with that)

Fact of the matter, I'm just happy i have a fun college football game to play every year. Some people just are never happy and will always complain. Just know that MOST of us love the game for what it is. Every game has flaws, NCAA is no different, but for some reason you guys always seem catch the most crap.

Just last night people were ready to jump off a bridge because a guy threw 4 picks in one half of one game. Haha, it's actually pretty comical although i'm sure you and your co-workers take it more personally. I know i'd be frustrated working in your field and having snot nosed little punks always complaining. I appreciate you coming on here and giving us the lowdown on the game.

Thanks Adam.
I appreciate your post. I know that this is really the case, but the complainers are the loudest, and I care so much for this game that these posts really get me down sometimes. I'll see them and just forget that most people I meet love the game. I forget that guys that post on the game's message boards aren't most people, and many of them will never be happy with the game.

Funny you brought this up. One of my good buddies on the team is our senior graphics engineer and he went to Ohio State and he brought this up over beers. We need to get a switch case in there so when you play at Ohio State at night, stadium lights are added. We'll need to get the art team in on it and it will cut into our stadium resources, and then he'll need to put in the code to do it. But like everything else, it comes with a price that will be judged versus other things. But yes, it IS a known issue. And you can be sure there are few graphics bugs that are Ohio Stadium specific because the graphics guy tests all his code in that stadium!

Ya know, there is a lot of smoke and mirrors in video games. It is a lot like doing a magic act. The stadium lights don't actually light the field. So if you don't put any lights in the stadium it will still behave as if there are lights in there.
I can totally understand that. But I will suggest that it might just be best to keep the lights for the stadium in there permanently to make it easier for yourselves, I doubt anyone would really complain if Ohio Stadium has the lights up in all games (if anyone does they are nuts). More than anything I'm just glad you guys know about it, so if it is there again next year I'll understand that it couldn't get fixed because it couldn't be reasonably worked into the development process. I know I've asked a lot of questions about pretty obscure things so thanks for taking the time to answer

I will admit that I love the effect you guys have in the game of how the stadium lights seem to bathe the whole stadium interior, without it though, the upper decks of Ohio Stadium seemed eerily dark to me. Ohio Stadium complaint aside, I must compliment you guys on how you've have nailed the general lighting of the field at night under the lights.

No, I think think that was cut because since it was only on one console, especially the one that doesn't move a lot of copies, we decided to put resources elsewhere.

PS I really like your idea of the cheerleader coming to life feature. I'll run it by Jeff Luhr and see if I can get the thumbs up to implement it. I'll be sure to put in many late nights at the office testing it to make sure it works right!

Right, I forgot that a small demographic of people that play the game would rather put you guys through a convoluted process just to get a tiny feature implemented and then complain later about other more important things not being done as well as they could be.

The demo is off the charts good this year. I imagine the retail copy is the same. Sit back, relax and enjoy what you guys have accomplished.

I know i'll be spending countless hours playing NCAA as will many others.
