I've noticed they gave the FCS schools prestige. Makes me wonder if we can play with them.??? What'd be even better is if they were modeled after the top schools from those regions. Not the exact school name but the mascot and uniform design and color scheme would fit those of APP ST., Deleware, etc. Go far enuff as to even get the rosters biggest names in there. aka Armanti edwards. Then every little once in a while the FCS teams would have awsome players that get drafted into madden

I really hope that's the case. I've been begging for them for a while and hopefully this is just the start of them finally being included the way they should be. We'll just have to wait and see.

I'd even pay to download them via xbox live if that was the only way to include them this year.

hey adam, the minnesota gophers got some new jerseys earlier this year for the 2008 season. so far i have seen the old uniforms for the gophers in ncaa 2009 (except the addition of maroon pants) i was wondering if it was possible to make a uniform update download available for xbox live. im a big gophers fan and im just lookin for anyway to get the new jerseys into ncaa 09! it would truly make the game perfect for me! thanks

When will there be a change in commentary? When will the commentary reflect the current game and current season or dynasty with stat commentary or reference specific plays from either earlier in the game or earlier in the season other than scripted lines that is triggered?

Adam welcome to OS. This is a great message board as I'm sure that you will see. I've been through 10 pages and I still haven's seen an answer to this question so I will ask it again.

Could you explain from an art perspective why three years in on next gen we still don't have the correct bowl endzones, and patches for bowl games? Thanks for taking time to visit us here and answer questions.

Thanks so much for doing this buddy. My four major concerns are post-season all-star games, captain selection in dynasty mode, offensive line play and rating criteria as well as recruit attributes.

I as well as many others would appreciate the inclusion of a few post season all-star games to improve or possibly worsen player draft position etc.( or even if a guy isnt ginna be drafted but was a heck of a player for a team, he gets honored). The all star games can even be generic if need be. Different players can be selected to different games. I feel that this would create a feeling of true concern about the athletes in the game even after they graduate or leave early iand will ncrease the sense of alumni and would better an already terrific dynasty mode. The game should also note where alumni get drafted, traded years down the line or signed as free agents. Alumni could then come back for big games and could be used as recruiting tools etc. Will this ever be included?

Also, we should be able to designate the correct amount of team captains in dynasty mode(anywhere from 3 to 6, and normally 4). All of the team captains should come out for the coin toss. This would truly increase the realism by injecting one of the biggest honors a player can receive in the college game. Would this be possible?

Offensive lineman should be graded out on their assignmentas like in the real game. Affective double teams should be clearly viewed. They should have rating categories of Grade Out Percentage, Footwork, Force Reset Ability, Knee Bend Ability, Hands, Drive Block Ability, Defense recognition ( we should see the o-linemen commuicating sometimes before the plays to adjust to blitzes etc.), and Blitz pickup etc. All of these different ratings as well as their correlation to affective on-field play should be factored into post-season awards, draft status, depth chart improvement etc. Is this a possible inclusion?

Finally, recruit attributes need to be re-worked a little. There seem to be too many kids who according to the series run anywhere from 4.19 to 4.3. There are also many kids who are 6'9 350 pounds, who bench 500 pounds and squat 800 pounds. Now there are exceptions in real life who do have unbelieveable attributes strait out of high school, but those guys are diamonds in the ruff. Are these attributes going to be reworked at all to appear a bit more realistic and along the lines of actual ratings of high school athletes per rivals or scout.com?

And to sort of borrow from this, it would be wonderful to have a realistic form of physical progression in the game.

By that I mean players gaining an appropriate amount of weight, many college football players as a result of the strength training programs gain quite a lot of weight over the course of their college football careers this has never really been modeled well in the game, most players tend to gain 2-4lbs over the course of their career. It would be nice to see larger increases for some players and have their attributes change according to their size.
