If you tweaked the passing game so it wasn't so easy to take advantage of the god cam (seeing the field) and instantaneous reactions (button press throwing mechanic) then it could remove the need for the LB jumps.


My own take on passing..

Although EA/Madden abandoned the throwing cone I think that could have evolved into a more realistic passing system. Imagine you line up pre-snap, and are auto looking at your primary (with the cone) or at the line you can choose who you want to focus on first. After snap, you cycle through your targets by pressing their normal buttons, causing your cone to snap over to them, very simple yes? Then you have like LT or RT or whatever as the "throw" button. This eliminates the goofy right stick mechanic that didn't work, but keeps the benefit of having "QB vision".

Bringing that back would eliminate the need for LB super jumps because the unrealistic ability to distribute the ball anywhere, instantly, would no longer be present.

Just my 2 cents on passing

Or how about just adding the chain gang to the sidelines. I can't belive they haven't add that in 6 years

Please include the FCS teams. I know that they can be created on team builder, but then they have to replace a division 1 team to be in the dynasty. I'm so sick of 20 teams playing FCS West every week. I don't even care that much about including their stadium or actual rosters. (Would be a nice touch though.)

Dream list. New engine probably won't happen at this point so I won't ask for it.

1) Add/delete conferences
2) Ability to expand/contract FBS (add teams up to 130 or something)
3) Inclusion of FCS teams. After all, the title of the game is NCAA football not FBS Football.
4) Customizable playoff option (pretty pretty pretty please)
5) Customize all bowl tie ins
6) Rating system is the same as Madden's, with a hidden pro potential rating that doesn't show up until you upload the draft class (most people don't want this though, they like their 99 rated alma mater QB).
7) Uploadable recruiting classes
8) Dynamic conference prestige
9) Option to schedule contracts of games years in advance. Ability to turn it off for people who don't like it.
10) Evolving rivalries (if I play Notre Dame 10 years in a row, maybe we become rivals like Stanford did)
11) 85 man rosters.
12) Optional AD mode with recruiting, coaching, facility budgets. Ability to expand stadium. Basically a lot like old Madden 05 Owner mode but deeper.
13) More players transferring, either because they see that they won't be able to start, random academic issues (would be warned the player is a trouble maker during recruting= risk/reward), or because a new coach comes in and changes the system (Ryan Mallet/Troy Aikman).

First list is made up of things I think this game needs immediately. 2nd list is just icing on the cake :P

Expand coaching carousel:
I like that some form of coaches/coordinators finally made it into the game, but it's very vanilla right now. I want to see this feature expanded to include more than just prestige ratings for each coach (offensive/defensive specialties and things like that). I also want to be able to hire/fire coordinators (who also have their own list of ratings) when I become a head coach.

Improve gameplay:
-Mirroring is still in and it is annoying. Super linebackers are also still in. Both need to be fixed.
-Late Game Fatigue - If I've held onto the ball for 30 minutes going into the 4th quarter the opposing defense should reflect that.

Increase roster size and allow online editing:
-Increase roster size to actual NCAA limits
-Allow people to use the team builder website or something like it to edit team rosters from their computer and at least a week prior to release to streamline the roster editing process.

Realistic penalties:
I haven't seen pass interference called more than a couple times in the last few years. It also bothers me that when I turn up penalty sliders to try and get some penalties called in the game I seem to be the one getting called for them far more often than the computer.

The icing on the cake:
-Athletic Director mode where you control everything. With the money you get from bowl payouts, ticket sales, etc...you use that money to hire/fire coaches, set recruiting budgets, negotiate non-conference matchups (maybe you pay Akron to come play at FSU, or you have a VT-Texas matchup where the revenue is split)

-some kind of half-time adjustments stat/feature would be great.
-I would also like to see more done receiver options. Not necessarily play specific WR options, but if just smarter receivers. No more receivers with a 15 yard cushion continuing to run deep into coverage when there are guaranteed easy yards if he just stops and the QB throws him the ball right there.
-Statistical breakdown in the formation menu. I think there was even an installment several years in this franchise that would show you some team and individual stats. I always liked the quick access to those.
-Stopping the action occasionally to show a highlight from another game/half-time show with highlights from around the nation.
-Revamp the presentation. Kirk and the crew need new lines or something. Veterans of this franchise haven't had any new form of presentation in a very long time.
-Overhaul in-season recruiting. It isn't bad, but it is a bit too time consuming each week of the season.
-Bring back NCAA sanctions against programs, but refine the system from where it was.

*Spring games in dynasty!!! example:
Madden has preseason games give NCAA 13 Spring Training the first couple games can be played at a local high school stadium then the last gets brodcasted by ESPN in the gameday stadium..

*Nike Sparq Combine!!!! example:
Madden has the NFL Combine just make the Sparq Combine for RTG & Dynasty for your recruits so actually get to run the 40 Yard Dash and Shuttle Run...

Heres my wishlist from the other thread.

Defense:
- Add function to in-game strategy menu that allows matchups of players. ie. star CB always on star WR, MLB always shadowing RB, etc.
- Defensive hot route. Allow selection of player to press cover or drop back individually, to take advantage of better press cover corner without exposing crappy press cover corner.
- Update the positions to include 3-4 specific positions. 3-4 OLB, 3-4DE, 3-4 NT. Where currently, if I tried to change to a 3-4 and move a DE, that would play OLB in the NFL, to a 3-4 OLB.. it would adjust their rating appropriately.

Offense:
- Improve gameplay for play action screens and HB Toss plays. More often than not, I see these plays being counter-productive, as the defensive players collapse and drop the ballcarrier for a loss. I'd say these types of plays only work like 10% of the time. Whereas in real life, screens and tosses are integral to college football.
- The obvious fix needed for WRs and pass catchers in general. This game is cursed with players standing around while defenders attack the ball in flight.


Overall:
- Add a new attribute to players called "Primary position" and "Secondary position", so we can better utilize Athletes that can play more than one position. For example.. teams that play Multiple D, can switch back and forth without having to muck around with the Depth Chart. And players like Owen Marecic last year can be a true ironman player and also progress at both spots.
