Wide Line Splits

Part of what distinguishes th spread offense is the wide splits of the offensive line. Texas Tech was one of the originals, now you see Oregon, GA Tech, Navy and others doing the same. Is this possible or would it be a programming nightmare?

Also, speaking of GA Tech and Navy, the NCAA team did a great job on the flexbone this year but to really perfect it they need to add all of the cut blocking and a few different QB drops.

Re: Wide Line Splits

Yeah this is under the fundemental things that were never programed into the game.

Even shotgun spread offenses have different line splits.

For Ga Tech's option spread this is so important. I coached an option offense and line splits are so important to create natural holes, angles on blocks and setting up plays.
