Stadium sounds in '10

Have they fixed the fact that the sounds don't actually play inside the stadium?

The music that we load is just played over the PS3 system and not over the PA within the stadium. It sounds retarded, it's like we're listening to music on our system and not in the game.

2K had it implemented so the music played over the PA speakers.

The band music is the exact same. It sounds like we're listening to a track on the system and not from within the stadium.

Any news on this?

According to the first OS NCAA 2010 interview, stadiums sounds "work the exact same way they did in 09".

Take that as you will.

yea i think theyre the same as they were last year. Doesnt bother me too much, at least we have something. You just gotta adjust the stadium sounds volume to about 50-60 so it doesnt sound so loud, it make it much better. I put all the other sounds to 100 then the stadium sounds to about 60, sometimes 55.

the point of the stadiums sounds is not to make it sound like it is played over the PA system, but that the band is playing it. however, it would be a nice option to have to be able to select if you wanted certain ones to be played over the PA system.

read my original post. i stated that the band music, as well, doesn't sound like it's coming from within the stadium. instead it sounds like a music track on the system.

Jersey, yes, the option to have actual music played thru the PA is also what I would like in addition to the band music coming from within the stadium

yea i can understand wanting to have the option so it sounds like its coming through the PA, i think that would be hard for the NCAA people to do though since theres a PA announcer so i dont know how that would work out.

My advice would to be to use a music editor program to get that echo or stadium PA sound.

Ive learned quite a bit about editing music over the last year simply just by playing with audacity. One of the teams i'm creating is based off a h.s. i used to play and they would play that Monty Python and the Holy grail theme song a lot but they played it a certain way that its played in the middle of the song. What i just did now, and i was quite impressed with how it came out, was i found that monty python and the holy grail theme song on youtube (the full 1:29 version) and ripped that to a mp3 using a youtube-mp3 converter program i downloaded (since listentoyoutube just keeps putting up a stupid pop up to block me from actually downloading my file) so i had the whole song on mp3.

Then i took that, cut out the pieces that sound like what the band plays, pasted that to a new file, repeated it a few times. Now the original file was pretty quiet so it didnt have that loud marching band sound i wanted but i amplified the sound and now it sounds perfect, just like a marching band.

Re: Stadium sounds in '10

Yea that does sound sweet. I wonder what kind of software, if any, would give that echo sound like the PA.

The reason I even mentioned is because I recently saw a video of nfl2k5, and they had custom music, and the Jay-Z song that was playing in the game actually came out of the PA within the game itself. It was unbelievable. And that was a long time ago, so there has to be a way to do it. I was hoping it made it in this year but it's certainly not top priority with all the other issues.

But that sounds like what I need Jersey.

Anyone know of any software to give that echo sound to a music track?

Re: Stadium sounds in '10

The PA option is something that frustrated me last year when the sounds played. They have the option in NHL 2009 so hopefully it will come into this years version of NCAA.
