Stadium sounds as a visitor?

Tonite I played my 2nd game of my Canes dynasty vs. Florida,I loaded all the files for Florida so that they would play for them being as they were the home team,but none of them played,do the sound files only work if you are the home team playing as the home team?I thought even though I was the visitor if I set up files to be played in the swamp they would play whether I was the visiting team or not.

This is correct right now - patch number 2 is supposed to change this so that the sounds always play for the home team, regardless of who you control.

can't speak for dynasty but you can hear the home team sounds if you are the visitor. This has worked for me in play now.

My guess is it might have something to do with the profile situation( which I do not understand fully)

I only have one profile saved. I have ND's and Washington's songs saved to the profile. When I play as ND at Washington I get their sounds. This goes for playing as anyone vs ND or Was at those sites.

I wonder if it has anything to do with active profiles. Again I have yet to experiment with more than one profile.

I also only have 1 user profile, but the songs do not play for me in a play now game unless I am controlling the home team. Are you SURE you were playing as ND at Washington and the Washington sounds played?
If you have time, please check again and see if it works. To me, if it's only going to be for teams, I control, it's not nearly as useful. Thanks....

I have a PS3 and Pitt and WVU sounds loaded and playing w Pitt@ WVU i get the sounds. Have to try other teams tough!

Just for you Billy Sims,

Turn on the game
Go to play now, it is Notre Dame at home against Mich St.
I have ND and Washington sounds saved to my one and only profile.
I play as visiting Michigan St.
Custom sounds come in for ND.

Well, thanks. I tried last night and again today. Tried to keep it real simple, played as away team with my one and only profile, at a school where I have custom sounds saved. They don't play. Now, if I switch over and control the home team, they play.

Could be because my roster file is bugged, who knows. So, for me anyway, this feature is now "meh".

Another update:

In my Dynasty as ND I am in my first season about to play at Michigan St.
Right before I play the game I create a profile with custom sounds for Mich St.
I activate this profile, and select the game.
Under team select I change the user profile to my main one for stats purposes.
The whole game Mich st. sounds come through.

No theories why mine have always worked and others do not

Mine work too. I have most of the Big XII schools (2 per profile) sounds so when I play on the road I hear my opponets custom sounds. I have a PS3 so maybe it is not working for 360 owners?

yep..that is a known fact...it seems EA made a code "mistake" and PS3 away sounds work.

For Xbox360 it wiil be adressed in patch #2
