Icon5 How do I get sounds from my PC to PS3?

I'm fairly new to the PS3 and have bought a flashdrive but I have no idea what the hell i'm doing in regards to transferring my music from my PC to my PS3. I vaguely recall reading that the PS3 had to have certain folders on the flash drive to read, can anyone help out?

I've googled and read a ton of crap about how to setup servers and whatnot from your PC to your PS3 but i'm just wanting to do the basic stuff here.

Just copy the music in a folder from the PC to the flash drive. Insert the flash drive into a USB port on the PS3. Go to the XMB and find the Music tab. On the music tab go down to find your flash drive. Select the flash drive and find your music and copy it to the PS3.

Does the folder have to be labeled PS3 w/ SAVEDATA inside...i created a "FSU STADIUM SOUNDS" folder & put all the music inside the afore mentioned, & so far my PS3 can't read them...or find them i should say.

create a folder called PS3, then AUDIO, then put all the files in that folder. then if you don't see them show up still press triangle and VIEW ALL. that's what i had to do.

To answer your question No. I have mine in an individual team folder placed on my flash drive and on a SD card. The only thing in the SAVEDATA folder is my rosters. I have found that keeping music in separate folders is easier to transfer to the PS3.
