yeah after implementing the sounds into the game. I don't quite have the same issues you do. the only one that sounds "bad" for me is go irish go I believe (the cymbal crash is just way too loud and seems to have a bit of static or something). the band imperial march sounds perfect for me. I love it. -shrug-

Re: *Official Independents Stadium Sounds Thread*

thought id chime in on the notre dame sounds since i was at all of the games last year.

First, fantastic job hunting all of this stuff down. I only have a couple of complaints, and they're nitpicky.

1) Ive never heard DamshaBua. I think they played the victory march after TD's last year. Not sure because we didnt have many, haha.

2) Metallica is used for turnovers, not the victory march.

Side note, I didn't realize that was 'one' until you called it metallica. crazy.

3) I think 'go irish go' sounds kinda bad. not your fault, but i may leave it out of my stadium sounds. who knows, maybe I could record a version of it this year......don't know if I could get a quality recording device though.

4) That version of celtic chant is much much slower than they actually play it. If you found a faster version, I would be very happy.

1. The band does play Damsha Bua after TDs instead of the Victory March. As you said, they were few and far between last season unfortunately.

EDIT: It's a little muted, but you can here it.

2. While this doesn't specifically pertain to your comment, I honestly think EA could do better with this feature next year by allowing more than one song for each situation. There are many songs/cadences that ND's band plays while the team is on the field, and they don't really have a set song for general situations like 3rd downs, if that makes sense.

Good point about the multiple songs, I would like that as well.

Guess I missed damsha bua, most likely from the celebrating. It may sound different to me in the stadium than it does on that recording as well. thanks for the correction.

The Anchors Aweigh (Short) is a special cut I made (will send file) I also have a Drum and Bugle Corps version of Anchors Aweigh cuz it sounds better than the orchestra versions.

P.S. Not kidding about how much they play that song
I need some Navy sounds bro!

Re: *Official Independents Stadium Sounds Thread*

stewaat,

My fellow ND fan, I just wanted to thank you for the awesome stadium sounds. I just got around to putting these in yesterday. What a pain to do on the 360. I burned them to a cd. At first I did an MP3 cd via iTunes and it wouldn't read it, so then I did an audio CD with cd text via iTunes. It would not read the names! Then I find out that I had to name each song a separate playlist? Is that right, or did I just do more work than I had to? I just wanted to get the da*n thing done, so that is what I did.

It was worth the trouble though to hear the Imperial march on my opponents 3rd down! Awesome.

Re: *Official Independents Stadium Sounds Thread*

i got my own ND file and as was stated above, "Metallica" is played after turnovers and while sometimes they do play Damsha Bua after tds, sometimes they dont. If you were watching the game today they just played the fight song after 1 of the tds (forget which). I got some better quality versions of some of those songs as well and the Celtic Chant i've also split into 2 different parts. The beginning and then the part starting from "Lets hear it, i wanna hear it, Goooo Irish, Go Irish, beaaaatt Trojans"
