Do you not have the issue with the two songs that I listed?

Could it just be me?

I am confused.

I will be implementing these shortly. uwant have you tried going into your user options and changing the stadium sounds, sound level? that might help. If not I've got a perfect quality imperial march that I can upload and will use if this one isn't up to snuff.

Yeah I tried that. It doesnt fix it becasue the rest of them are perfect so lowering the sound to make the 2 that are loud makes the other ones too low.

I will say this... I turn off the 2 ones that were bothering me (as they really did pull me out of the expirience) and everything was BEAUTIFUL!! Sure I missed the 2 files as there are ones that you notice are missing (if you are an ND fan) but it wasnt so bad.

In all honesty, that is a compliment to the rest of stewwat's files. The really do sound good in the game. In fact, on plays where I just reach the first down line, I dont even look down at the downs in the corner to see if I got the first. I just wait a second and see if Talking Hands kicks in. Pretty cool.

Stewwat, you are killing me buddy, I have scoured the net over the past few days for ND sounds and yours are the best so far. You are sitting on near perfection. Anyway that you can bump that up to actual perfection with better sounds files for the Imperial March and the Kick Off?

Both sound like all that is needed is a volume adjust. I would take a crack atit myself but while I am a lot of things, an "audio guy" I am not.

GO IRISH GO

Re: *Official Independents Stadium Sounds Thread*

Finally got back to this thread! Sorry for the delay

Uwant...

For me the kickoff is fine...it's actually not loud enough...I can barely hear the "GO......IRISH!"...I just like the "Oooooooooooooooooooo" before the kick...it's good enough for me.

Imperial march is a little loud...you are correct.

I had "Rock" at the kickoff before finding the kickoff sound.
For the imperial march...I don't know man...I don't mind if it's loud and I am pretty damn sure you are not going to find another clip of that on the internet.

I'll admit the one that bothers me at the moment is the Talking Hands for achieving a first down on 1st/2nd down. The "Go Irish Go!" sound really bad and I'm leaning towards putting the "Go Irish Go" clip in the place of Talking Hands. They are practically the same thing but the latter sounds much better.

For 3rd down...if Imperial March is something you don't like I'd try "Metallica". I think it's my favorite sound of all of them.

Re: *Official Independents Stadium Sounds Thread*

Stewwat,

I am not sure what is up with my Kick Off one. Do you have surround sound? That might be my issue. My speakers are pretty decent and they pump the whole room full of sound so maybe that is what is going on. The best way that I can describe the other ones sis that they sound loud enough to be exciting, but low enough that you feel like they are still off in the distance (the band section) playing. Kick Off gave me the impression that Notre Dame was playing a crowd roaring through the PA system. Does that make any sense?

I agree that you cant hear the "Irish" part of the "Goooooooooooooooooooo Irish!" I just thought I couldnt hear it because the loudness was drowning it out.

Maybe I will give the Kick Off another look after playing with my speakers.

I am fairly shocked that Talking Hands is not so good for you. It sound perfect on mine. It's probably one of the better quality ones (along with Metallica and Victory March and Victory Clog).

Would you mind if I tried to tweak your files (just the two that bother me)? Would you host them for me if successful? Kind of like and alternate version.

Go for it man. Just PM me when you get them done and all that good stuff. I'll upload and host them.

Yea and the Talking Hands just doesn't sound right to me...the Go Irish Go part doesn't flow well IMO. I do not have surround sound personally...we might just have different speakers with different quality. More than likely yours are better! I have a 32" Vizio and just use the audio from that.

I havent tested it yet but after thinking about what we are talking about here, it might just be the surround sound. It seems like the other files are pumped to the surround sound like the rest of the crowd sounds but the Kick Off and Imperial March are coming from the (much louder) main speaker.

Unfortunately it doesnt look like either one of us would have the first clue as to how to fix that. If possible at all.

Maybe I will try but I dont see success in the cards.

I'll keep you informed.

No, but I will try to figure it out. Problem is that I am in the process of starting up an online dynasty and if ripping the new files is anything like the first time i had to do it, well, I dont have the time for that right now.
