Official SEC Stadium Sounds Thread

Hey SECElite........you dont have access or could get access to elephant roar that you hear at Bama's home games do/can you? I don't know if you have ever heard it but its usually right before bama kicks off as the are taking the field. I would love to get this! Seems to be the only cool Bama sound missing! thanks for any help feedback

That is a difficult one to find. I don't have it unfortunately, but I am looking. I was thinking I might be able to find some elephant sounds that sound similar but I have never heard that specific sound. Do you know of a video that has that sound or one that sounds similar?

LOL......i spent several hours on youtube looking but every one I looked at didnt have it. I'm gonna post on some tide forums and see if someone can help me and I'll get back with you. I can't believe its not on a bama cd of some sort

New to the boards here...but I've been reading about the elephant noise (I have been hunting it for a while now as well), and feel it's my duty to share with you guys where to find it...

Due to the fact that I don't have 5 posts yet, I can't post links...

So just type in, This is Alabama Football in youtube, and it will come up under playlist results. It's the video that is 1:38. It's not the best quality video in the world, the sound is kind of hissy...

The only problem other than that is, you have to wait til the very end of the video to hear it. BUT...

If you have a program on your computer such as cool edit pro then you can edit the sound file after you record it, deleting the unnecessary part of the audio.

If you don't have a program on your computer to do that, and you really want to have it, I have done this myself, and edited the hissing out as much as I could. If someone will teach me how to upload it onto this mp3 website you guys are using, then I'd be more than happy to do that.

I have found the video that you are referring too and ripped the sound. There is not much to work with due to the low quality. The high pitched roar in the middle is really the only part I can do anything with. How much of that is actually played at the games?
