It's just the Longhorn band playing, esentially: "The eyyyes of Texas are uponnn Youuuuuuuuuuuuuu" with the last couple of notes being held out a little long.
HELP PLEASE

TEXAS LONGHORNS

YO, I found THAT SOUND! Will someone please go to this site and record this sounds file and make a mp3 out of it. I dont have the tools to do it and my computer is pretty limited anyway.

Go to the 2:55 mark and record it with the drum lines part at the end. its 25 seconds exactly.

Nice find! I'll see if I can rip it into audacity tonight after I get off work.

I know it's named lion, but it sounds like the tiger sound they played from what I remember.

I uploaded mine to a myspace page awhile back.....hopfully you have an account, if not, maybe someone can put them up on a sharefile site. Anyways, you will need Audacity (or similar) program to edit.

I am going to try to put a cannon firing .....found a youtube video of Cadets firing off a cannon earlier today.

myspace.com/sehtown

edit: I didn't put yells because I didn't want to hear the same yell every 3rd down etc throught a 45minute game. The cannon firing is really nice in the game; despite people yelling in the background...they sound as part of the game crowd and you hear the BOOM of the firing.

does anyone know a program where you can overlap audio?

for instance choose two audio files and combine them to play together one over the other at the same time?

i have a fight song but i need to overlap Hells Bells (just the bells) to play at the same time...

audacity should do it...you will have one file on top of the other (still seperate). When you click on file > export as MP3, they should merge. That is how I do it when messing with vocals and instrumental tracks. You might have to play with it to make it sound at least decent.

Music and crowd yells? They are too busy tring to add male cheerleaders, humping, and hand gestures before they can get to the audio.

KU fan here, and am getting pumped for my KU dynasty with all these great sound files. Heck, I might even throw some in for the other Big 12 schools too. Even Missouri..
