Re: FistofRages's 2010 Heisman Slider Discussion

I think I'll just have to use super sim on KR/PR with these. I like the CPU rushing attack, but the big Special teams play ruins it. I tried a game with it(CPU run blocking) at 65, CPU got 3 KR TDS, 1 PR TD. then tried a game with it at 60 and CPU got 2 KR TDs. but at 55, the CPU run blocking is not good. they can usually still get good yards on me as MTSU, but I can see the blocking get worse at 55 compared to 65.

and somehow the Human KR blocking is better almost too good, no clue as to why, the only thing I've been changing it CPU run blocking.

did a full game MTSU(me) @ Clemson (CPU run blocking at 55 in 1st half. 2nd half it was at 60)

I lost 49-46 (I had 2 TDs, 1 safety)

MTSU - Clemson
1st downs 13 - 12
total offense 239- 270
Rushes-yards-TD 44-94-1 - 32-102-1
comp-att-TD 11-16-1 - 11-15-2
passing yards 145 - 168
3rd down conv. 6-14 - 9-10
turnovers 1 - 0
KR yards 252 - 211
punts 5-47.2 - 0
T.O.P. 15:31 - 12:38

score summery:
1st quarter - none

2nd quarter
TD Clemson, 8 yard pass
TD Clemson 7 yard run

3rd quarter
TD Clemson 94 yard KR TD
Safety(2 points for MTSU)
TD MTSU 2 yard run
TD Clemson 87 yard KR TD
TD MTSU 19 yard TD pass

4th quarter
TD Clemson 31 yard Int return
TD Clemson 28 yard TD pass

player stats

MTSU
QB Dasher 11-16(68%) 145 yards 1 TD 1 Int sack 6 times, 15 carries 1 yard (I'm running a shotgun spread option, sacks kill his rushing yardage)
HB Tanner 22 carries 82 yards

Clemson
QB Korn 11-15(73%) 168 yards 2 TDs sacked twice, 2 carries -9 yards
HB Spiller 27 carries 105 yards 1 TD.

I'm going to redo the game with run block at 65 and just supersim Kickoffs and compare the rushing stats.

Re: FistofRages's 2010 Heisman Slider Discussion

I won 34-31. I had to pound it out on the ground and had 110 yards on 27 carries with my HB. Illinois had 1 TO, I had 2.

I supersimmed KO's and that is fine with me.

Issues...

NONE

I didn't get any sacks but my D isn't very good. Illinois sacked me once or twice but had some close calls.

HUM running was PERFECT!
CPU rushing was great. I don't have the stats right here but they had a great rushing attack from the shotgun. Dufrene had two TDs and they ran a speed option which Juice Williams pitched it perfectly for the 20 yard TD.

No complaints here!

*Oh I did lower HUM PBLK to 45 and upped CPU PRUSH to 55, it works better for me*

Dong an experiment right now with the AI RB ability at 65 and Human Run defense at 25.

I didn't get a chance to test it last night, but I wonder if the AI run game is attached to the pass blocking as well. Specifically the shotgun option plays.

I need to test this, wonder if that may be why its an automatic loss each time.

Don't watch KO returns, the blocking is still super human.

Decided to test it up 28-0 and they got a TD...no beuno

Good news, Adam just responded that the Run Block slider will no longer effect special teams play after the patch.

Great news, my testing is on hold right now. Everything plays great for me except the AI rsuh game and I am positive I will be able to fix the run game, hopefully even the option game post patch.

Re: FistofRages's 2010 Heisman Slider Discussion

That's cool. I'm having great games anyways so anything improved is just an added bonus.

I just dominated Army with Minnesota 49-14.

Stat: Army-Minnesota
1st downs: 9-18
Rush yards: 102-163 *They had some good runs but I stuffed them most of the time, I feel a team like GT would steamroll me*
Pass yards: 173-284
Turnovers: 1-1

I'm gonna turn some penalties up.

Other than that I see zero issues. Well KO return but that was my own fault!

I finally had a good passing day with Adam Weber:
17-25 (68%), 263 yards, 4 TD, 0 INT (He had 5 TD: 12 INT before this game, Army just sucks)
*Pump fake absolutely burned one guy. They sacked me twice, but I had plenty of time most of the game*
D. Bennett - 19 car, 144 yds, 2 TD
D. Eskridge - 9 car, 7 yds
*This is crazy haha. They stuffed DeLeon every time and Bennett was running wild.*

I was able to sack them 3 times, one time came on a blitz and my LB got in there really quick, it looked fantastic.

Next up is @ Iowa.

Minnesota/Iowa
Overall: C+/B
Offense: B-/B
Defense: C/B+

Game I should lose, but it's a rivalry game and I'm coming off a really strong game. I'm running the ball really well.

Re: FistofRages's 2010 Heisman Slider Discussion

Offense
10/5
45/10
50/50 *Might move to 45/45*
50/50
50/65

Defense
75/75
90/55
20/20
50/55 *Might move to 30/55*
55/55

Special Teams
20/20
10/40
40/40
40/50
55/55

These are basically the same, just minor changes that suit the game better for me.

Re: FistofRages's 2010 Heisman Slider Discussion

Alright, I lied. I did a little more testing. Based on the fact that Adam said that the run block slider will be patched to no longer influence Kick-off returns and punt returns, the sliders on the fron t page are the ones I'll be using. In the mean time, auto-sim kick-offs, but these should be ready to roll.

Heisman
7 min quarters

Offense HUM/CPU
QB Acc 10/10
Pass Block 50/10
WR Catch 50/50
RB Ability 50/50
Run Block 50/75

Defense HUM/CPU
Pass Coverage 75/75
Pass Rush 90/60
Interceptions 20/20
Rush Defense 50/60
Tackling 50/55

Special Teams HUM/CPU
FG Power 20/20
FG Acc 5/40
Punt Power 40/40
Punt Acc 40/50
Kickoff Power 55/55

***These are the same as the ones on the front page.

Re: FistofRages's 2010 Heisman Slider Discussion

look close to what I am using with only a better run block for CPU and better run D for CPU. This year gameplay vs CPU is solid once this gets patched IMO. Well as solid as it can be with them knowing my play.
