Re: FistofRages's 2010 Heisman Slider Discussion

the good thing about this year is that it seems that most people have pretty similar heisman sliders which tells me they are actually doing what they should do. your set only seems to buck the trend with the CPU run blocking. what is your base defense? I am guessing a 4-3...

I'm testing these out right now. I'm Oklahoma at Notre Dame.

I had no clue what to put human rush defense as so I put it at 20. Let me know what your suggestion is.

These look really good fist.

I am going to alter HUM PBLK to 50 and CPU PRUSH to 50 because I find that still provides a good enough pass rush! The CPU CBs love to press me or something because I never have that much time to throw.

I had it at 50 last night and the good teams were able to run. 20 sounds good, honestly I don't think that slider does much of anything for the human, it does seem to work for the AI. The AI run game is based all upon the AI run block as far as I can tell.

Let me know how that 20 works out.

Re: FistofRages's 2010 Heisman Slider Discussion

after 1 quarter(7 minute), I'm losing 42-7 to Clemson as MTSU.

Clemson has 5 rush attempts for 103 yards 2 TDs. Spiller is 4 carries for 113 yards, 4 broken tackles. Korn got sacked for -10 yards.

Korn passed 8-8 187 yards 3 TDs.

my offense has 26 yards, 6 rushing attempts for 1 yard, I got sacked once so far. 3-7 passing for 25 yards.

on those running plays I have anywhere from 4 to 8 players on their backs during the play. I have CPU run block at 65, Human rush defense at 0.

my TD was on a kickoff return.

I think I'll restart with Human Run D at 50 and see what that looks like.

Hahaha damn!

CPU run block must be really sensitive!

yeah, 2nd attempt we just traded KR TDs. 7-7 after 25 seconds into the game.

then I had to punt, and they took that for a TD.

Edit: I don't know what I did, all I changed was Human run defense to 50 from 0(everything else is the same as 1st post), but now every special teams play is a near TD. Clemson has 1 KR TD, 2 PR TD, I have 2 KR TDs. all in the 1st quarter.

I'm going to restart and double check sliders and try again.

Yeah, I was playing with it at 50 last night. I know with CPU run block at 50 or below run defense doesn't matter, you will bottle everyone up.

I'll change it on the fron page to 50, if you want to lower it, its at your own risk.
