are these settings hard to play on but still realistic? cause thats what im looking for. A lot of other settings are way to easy.

Re: FistofRages's 2010 Heisman Slider Discussion

Finished season 10-2 with losses to Illinois and Wisconsin both on the road. Managed to knock Pryor out of the OSU game in the first quarter and go on to a 10 point victory! My recruiting class is looking to be VERY nice other then 4 positions. I got blanked at HB, DT, LB, FS positions. These will be my focus for next year and I did REALLY well at all the other positions which include the #1 T, #1 DE, #1 SS and #1 CB in the country!!!! Can't remember ever getting 4 #1's in one season before! Really cleaned up on offensive line and WR so by year 3 I should be back to only recruiting the FREAK recruits and settling for nothing less.

In fact, I've upped the AI RBA to 55 and dropped my run defense to 0.
yea thats what i do. i dropped the cpu run block to 75 and its good, but if i use the run commit i end up giving up a huge run sometimes.

Are the sliders on the first page the most up to date set?
Also, with cpu run defense at 100 won't that simply create unrealistic offensive line blocking? For example my offensive line seems to disengage with the defensive lineman very early in the play causing my running back to get stuffed.
The robo qb on heisman is sometimes unbelievable even with the qb acc at 15, a lot of times when I get any pressure they just throw it to anybody. Guys that are not even open how do you stop that?

Yeah, those are the ones, although I have dropped INt's to 10 for both sides and I have been playing at QB ACC @ 10 for a while now.

I am usually able to get 150+ per game on the ground, but move the RB slider wherever you want to make the game enjoyable for you.

I was really focusing on what the AI was doing last night because I only control the DT so my defense dowsn't have a very steep learning curve. For the most part, I will only improve marginally on D over today. But I liked what I saw out of the AI on offense.

Fist of Rage, do I need to reset the settings in online dynasty to have it take effect. I am also noticing far too many KR for TDs. When I reset in online Dynasty the sliders do not reset just the difficulty setting and things like QB quiz.

Hey man haven't played this game in a long time so I decided to start another Ohio State Dynasty. First game was against Navy and let me tell you I absolutely hate their flexbone offense that they run. No wonder why it caused Ohio State so much trouble in real life it caused me a lot too.

I won the game by a final score of 55-51. They kicked a 45 yard field goal with 1:30 left to play to give them the lead of 51-48. The very next play they kicked it off and Lamaar Thomas took it to the house to take the lead and give me outright lead of 55-51 with about 1:20 to play. They drove down the field but I stopped them on downs to win the game.

It was a crazy game I found myself down by 15 late in the 4th quarter but clawed back and finally tied the game.

All in all a fun game. Passing seemed to easy on both sides. i will play USC next game before I make any changes.

Re: FistofRages's 2010 Heisman Slider Discussion

Hey Fist, what are your overall thoughts on the game now after months with it? Do you every play NCAA 09 anymore? I'm a little sick of NCAA 09 and the flaws I have to deal with. My biggest pet peeves are the lack of a cpu ground game and no deep passing game. I know NCAA 10 did a better job with that and sliders in general but I was just so annoyed with the camera angle and super bullet passes that I couldn't take it after a week with the game. I'm thinking of trying to find the game cheap and give it another shot for something different but I'm worried I'd just be wasting my money.
