I am really liking play on the varsity level but there are definitely a few areas of your sliders that need to be looked at. I just got done playing one half using Georgia vs Tennessee and they ran 170 yrds on me and broke 14 tackles! I raised human tackling up to 15 and they were still breaking way to many tackles. another area is wr catching, Tennessee wide receivers dropped 12 passes compared to my 4 drops. I am liking the human rush offense still a challenge but i break out 5 yd and up runs quit a bit. Also human qb acc. might need to be lowered as well, Cox was 14-15 in the first half. Looking forward to what you come up with.

Ive moved my hum tackle to 30, and iam seeing more stops from my D and not as many long retuns on KO's. I am able to throw the ball with incredible yardage results, I use a pass heavy, spread O team, but I've notched a 450+ game and a 520 yrd game!! Crazy! My percentages a good, low 60%, Iam just a little concerned with ease of passing...i can get 15-20 yards with regularity. BTW my QB is an 86 OVR(post patch) and I use 8 min qrts(thinking about lowering here too). Ideas on passing game? Also my RB sub problems are gone, thanks for fixes from last two posters :-)
more soon.....

OK, never mind about 30 tackle doing anything :-) I have now played another game, against FAU, and they have 2 kicks returned for TD's and nearly 200 yards rushing, all due to broken/missed tackles. So I am going to test out 50(default) and see what that does. The CPU runners are just unstoppable, I play with a terrible team, but they hit homerun play after homerun play and is not at all realisitic, so back to the testing phase, I just hope I find a decent playable set-up to truly begin my Dynasty, because this current Dynasty has degraded into testing only... :-)

Wow!
I didn't expect that many people to play on this level.....so all of the feedback is great.
I'm fully aware of the CPU running game being better than ever this year. But that's a good thing IMO because now we know they can run the ball and do it well.
Right now I'm working on toning down their running game and also tweaking the passing game just a little more for the human player. Once I get those two issues squared away I think this set will make Varisty level very playable.
I don't want to take away the fun factor either so if your having great success passing after MY NEXT UPDATE then you might want to go just a little lower on the QBA slider for Human. I'm trying to find away to make the passing game remain fun yet not too easy.
I love being able to hit a guy deep vs some poor little DB and I don't want to make the sliders HARD just to fix a minor problem....I prefer competive game play but it also has to be fun game play for me.
Thanks for all the feedback, I should have updates later on tonight.

PM;
I'm going to try these later tonight.
Just an FYI, I read here a few days ago from Adam in the impressions thread to lower the Sub In slider if your starting HB doesn't return to action soon enough. He said it's a fatigue issue they are working on.
I remember a game I played pre-patch and to start the 4th quarter, the 3rd string RB starts out, while I didn't see the first stringer at all during the second half.
I think these will be more balanced but it might be a little tougher to be honest BECAUSE OF THE LOWER SETTINGS I know have for the Human Offense.
But I think you'll find these to be very even on both sides of the ball and many of you will notice right away how much more fluid the game feels when you keep the settings as low as possible.
I did increase the WR's catching up to 35/45 for the HUM/CPU. If your still seeing dropped passes it's probably because on this level like I've been saying the ratings seem to stand out a little more.
The Human and CPU Tackle Slider are both at 35. I still prefer the lower settings because it makes things feel much smoother on the field.
You should see running lanes open up and you'll have to hit them quick before the CPU sheds their blocks. RB's should rotate properly since RBA Slider also effects stamina meaning they'll rotate in and out with the SUB FATIGUE SLIDER at 85
Maybe it's me but I'm just not seeing a lot of broken tackles by the CPU but I raised it to a setting that should be easier on your defenders if you were having issues vs the run with earlier release..
I'd be very careful raising that slider any higher because you might just take away their running game completely and for the teams that run out of the shotgun or spread formations they won't have much success out of those formations if your players are tackling too good.
QBA-5/15............(BOTH SLIDERS WERE REDUCED DOWN)
PASS BLK-20/20
WR CATCH-35/45...(HELPS TO MAKE UP FOR REDUCED ACCUARCY)
RBA-35/60
RUN BLK-20/45......(I REDUCED BOTH SLIDERS DOWN TO REDUCE SUCTION BLOCKING)

PASS RUSH-70/70

I will be giving these a shot later today, thanks PM for continued work :-) I did move my hum tackle to 50 and it did seem as though my D was way more effective against run, like you say, maybe too much, so I'll try 35, I didn't have success at 30, but it might be a combo of lower slider, my crap team and me not squaring up guys to make tackles. I am also excited to see what the tweaks in the passing game can do, because I have had good games closeness wise but they are 40 to 50 points per team week after week and my O comes from huge passing game and the CPU's from homerun plays(KO returns, LONG runs/passes where I cant stop them). So its not as much fun as I'd like even though the games are close, it just feels a little too arcade-like on the O-side. We appreciate the continued effort PM and I will keep up-dates rolling in....

I just had an offensive juggernaut of a game Oregon(me) 56 at Boise St 59. This was a real fun game. I feel I couldnt stop them at all on defense no matter what I did. They were killing me with the run and the pass. The game ended in OT when I ran a fully setup play which resulted in an interception then they kicked a field goal. I think we ran too many plays I played this on 9min quarters. The reason for so many penalties and fumbles I had agrressive for impact blocking and big run. Which cause me a lot of problems.

you think having fg accuracy at 40 that it is way to easy to make field goals?
