NCAA Football Sliders>Playmakers NCAA 10 Varsity Sliders (360)

Just had a great game using Georgia vs Auburn. It was tied 14-14 for most of the game but i came through and ended up winning the game 38-29, Blair Walsh had 5 field goals! I like the human running game it's still a challenge, Samuel ran for a hard earned 130 yds i think on 35 or so carries, he averaged around 3.8 yds a carry. I dropped down cpu tackling though, Samuel only broke one tackle the whole game so now i have human and cpu equal at 40 for tackling. I still may have to tinker with human pass coverage as well, my corners and safeties just don't go for the ball at all. Still toying with the special teams but here is where i have them now.

packmanuk,

Set 1 is going to mostly give you more offensive freedom. Set 2 was kinda designed to add more defense into the game mostly on the CPU side of the ball.

Basically if your wanting to get change pace for instance if your playing a higher rated school and you know their defense should be pretty tough to move the ball on then Level 2 is an option for you to use.

But if your getting great results with one set compared to the other then by all means just stick with the one set and maybe sprinkle in some settings from each that might work great if they were combined together.

As for the Pass Coverage Slider if you guys are getting killed in the air or you just want more aggressive play by your DB's then feel free to increase it to your liking. I'd say somehere between 10-25 should be just fine. My biggest fear would be that if you go too high the CPU QB's might start reverting to INT's and terrible decisions with the ball.

With Pass Coverage at 0 for me it gives the CPU on this level a chance to read make plays without being ROBO QB in the process. I use Texas and usually hold teams to about 50-55% completion percentage. I think my highest was 66% one matchup vs OU and Bradford in a test game. [Reply]

Those Special teams settings look very good. I think level two was similiar to those settings. I'm going to steal them from you and make them the base settings in both Level's ok [Reply]

Playmakers,

Does it matter what quarter length? Do you perfer any one over the other....7min, 5mins, etc.????

I didn't know if the time would make a difference.

Thanks. [Reply]

I really like set 1 but feel its just a bit wide open. But on set 2 I find it much harder to shed blocks and think the cpu doesn't pass the ball so well.

I guess I want the cpu passing game of set 1 and the break blocks of set 1 but more defence as in set 2. I don't want shoot outs all the time.

I'm going to play as a 1 or 2 star team so want it to be tough against the big schools but don't want to switch settings all the time. [Reply]

Steal away. Im going to increase pass coverage to 5 and go from there. As for the special teams im going to see how cpu fg accuracy at 50 goes, the cpu was missing way to many field goals at 40. Enjoying these sliders a lot! [Reply]

I'm having a terrible time stopping the pass. I can't seem to get any real pass rush, sot he QB is just sitting back waiting for a WR to get open.

Any advice???? [Reply]

which set are you using and I can tell you exactly what you need to decrease and increase.

also what i might do is take both sliders and then come up with avg for each setting.

Like RBA is at 30 and 50 for the Human player. So the avg setting would be 40

Run Blk is at 45 and 5. So the avg would be 25

If I did it that way the Final Version would have Human RBA at 40 and Run BLK at 25

Does that sound like a good to you guys?

I can also come with a serviceable Pass Coverage setting but it still wouldn't be that high because I don't want to throw off the balance of the sliders. [Reply]

On set #1 I had just the opposite. 11 sacks me[UCLA] vs [Arizona] other than that it was a dogfight me getting down 10-0 before pulling out a 27-17 when. Excellent game with these sliders just gotta hope all those sacks were a fluke game. [Reply]
