WTF is with these sliders

In my Husker dynasty, year 3, my D was pretty much dominating in every area, way to much so, that i decided for my young personel they were playing way to good.

Finally got myself to the point where i have turned the HUM D-Awr slider to zero. What happens next?

Sure my D is less dominating, but now as a result, my offense has absolutely 100% went to ****......

Went from close to 100 yards rushing per game, to 6 last nite, and also for no reason at all, almost every pass is getting jumped, to the tune of 4-6 picks a game, not to mention the recent fumbling habits that have popped up, at least two per game. that's right averaging around 6-8 turnovers a game now.

What exactly does this AWR slider do?!

Re: WTF is with these sliders

Awareness is basically a defensive instinct slider. The higher it is, the smarter the defense is. DBs will be in better position, jump routes more and you will see the majority of change in pass defense. It does affect the run defense a bit as LBs will run to the proper hole quicker as well.

However, if you've only adjusted human defensive awareness, it should not have done anything to your offense. Plus, fumbles aren't really related to it imo. Maybe the cpu defenders will try to strip the ball more but I haven't seen it. There aren't many fumbles in this game. The RBA slider affects that more than anything.

I would chalk this up as a fluke. Your dropping the human defensive awareness slider should only boost the cpu passing game (and slightly boost the cpu run game) without doing much else imo.

Re: WTF is with these sliders

The only thing that causes the crazy INTs and fumbleitis is momentum.

If you allowed the CPU to get a huge amount of momentum, then be prepared for anything and everything to happen in the CPU's favor.

The sliders had nothing to do with it.
