Madden's "My Skill" Sliders?

Anyone who also plays Madden try to use their "My Skill" settings in NCAA? For the way I play (as QB/K/P only) my settings could easily be used in either game. Since they have defense separate for pass and run, I set the D to the average of the 2. My offense is set based on the "My Skill" settings exactly. I have played offense in a test dynasty with Army through 3 games and save for the fact that I sometimes brainfart when playing QB, it's been REALLY fun.

Just thought I'd ask.

Re: Madden's "My Skill" Sliders?

So since the roster patch was released I started a new dynasty with Army. It's sort of NG CM but more of a CL/Player Lock type of deal. I let Corso call the plays and I play as QB Only supersimming until "next change of possession" when on defense. We're 4-3 after 7 with a break down of...

24-28 L to Temple
40-7 W over FCS East
21-24 L to Akron
10-31 L to Texas A&M
23-21 W over Tulane
33-10 W over E. Michigan
38-23 W over Buffalo

Also, I'm convinced that manually dropping back and down what the play diagram calls for you QB to do is the best way to play QB. I'm also convinced that the auto-drop is much too fast. I still throw picks (8 TD, 12 INT through 6 games as Carson Williams) but I don't feel as pressured because I feel like the slower drop back causes my linemen to block better.

ELU (elusiveness) and BCV (ball carrier vision) are EXTREMELY important ratings when you aren't controlling your back. Jamal Robinson (record setter in my now deleted cpu vs. cpu Army dynasty) has a BCV of 75 and through 6 games is averaging 2.8 YPC. Now, Tony Moore (new starter) has an ELU rating of 86 and a BCV rating of 88 and through 6 leads the team in rushing with 500+ YDS and 6 TD. New #2 man, Carlo Sandiego, has a BCV rating of 86 and in the E. Michigan game he had 12 ATT for 82 YDS and a TD.

This has been the most fun I've had with an NCAA game in a LOOOOOOOONG time!!!
