I have to disagree, my passing completion percentages are already high enough, drops are just a means to an end so my completion percentages arent through the roof. In terms of FG length Im having no problems either with length, its more my accuracy that sucks.

One you have to have some drops by the WR's or the QB will hardly ever throw an incomplete pass.
And two alot of college football kickers have trouble kicking 32 yard fg's.
This is not the NFL where every 45 yard fg is automatic.
True...however, i was talking about length. There is not a D1 kicker that cannot kick it 32 yards.

In terms of drops, i am going to try game 2 and see what i get. I will take a few extra drops over the 70% completion ratio i suppose.

Ok, I just ran a game with these sliders in my Dynasty and I like them so far. I played 7 minute quarters.

Score:
VT-23
UVA-16

Total Plays
UVA(CPU) - 70
VT (Me) - 56

Total Yards
UVA: 230
VT: 321

It was a defensive struggle most of the game and it was in the snow which had some influence on the passing game. I had a few long runs with Kenny Lewis but aside from that I didn't get much production out of anyone else offensively. UVA still struggled to run the ball though, but then again I do have a solid defense and they're only 4-7 in my dynasty.

Passing
VT
Glennon 7-13 82 yds 1 INT
Taylor 3-7 50 yds 1 INT
UVA
Lalich 20-39 184 yds 2 TD 1 INT

Rushing
VT
K. Lewis 25 carries, 205 yards 3 TDs (Long 65). He also had 3 20+ yard runs, one was like 40 yards off of a late pitch.
UVA
C. Peerman 15 rushes 34 yards

Receiving
VT-4 drops
UVA- 2 drops

I wish there were a level between Heisman and AA.

Passing stats from my last game

UCLA/Mich

Cowan: 24-34 232 5ints
Threet: 26-37 468 5td 1int(returned for a td) 70%

Bell: 18-131 2tds, had a 79yard run, broken play.
Minor: 22- 100 5tds

The rest of the stats aren't worth posting I won 68-35.
I didn't return any of the int's for tds, just ran out of bounds.

Re: What I'm using now (AA)

I just switched to AA using the team adjusted sliders method and I would agree with most of you guys that this is on the right path to getting enjoyment from the game. It was definitely more fun and still a challenge from what I was getting on Heisman. You are right Jistic about Heisman, I couldn't get into it either. Heck, I couldn't complete a down the field pass on Heisman. I stopped trying to do it because it was like wasting a down.
At least on AA you feel like you are actually doing something on defense and not just getting lucky if the CPU doesn't score.
As far as the offense aggressive setting goes, I would agree that I don't see the CPU taking more shots down the field. I wonder if this setting affects CPU's decision making on 4th downs, whether to go for it or not in certain situations?

3 Games with it filled completely and I havent seen them go for it on 4th down when they shouldnt have. I really dont know what it does, it doesnt make them take more shots and it doesnt seem to force them to go for it on 4th down more often. The only thing I can figure is it causes them to call more plays where their receivers are going deeper into the secondary and maybe there is another slider or setting in play that is preventing them from throwing it though. Maybe they go deeper but to get them to throw it we will need to raise the QB Accuracy slider? Im personally not willing to do that since it will probably mess something else up completely but its a thought for those that really want to test it.

I think the deep ball or lack thereof is just code. Now the devs have mentioned something about it possibly in a patch. For now I'm not even gonna stress finding a way to make it happen.

JISTIC

sorry man...had to get your attention. WHO is that in your avatar? I sent you a PM asking, but don't know if you got it.

Nice sliders BTW. I think this game will be fairly good when the patch/s get released. Working sliders will be huge imho.
