Re: What I'm using now (AA)

I have to ask, with FG Accuracy at 0, are others seeing way too many missed FG's in this game? Im playing Purdue and they are 2/6 in FG's, none have missed due to being short, they have all been off to the side but the alarming thing is 1-2 of them were no more then 35 yards, from the right hashmark and instead of even attempting to hook them to the left to get them through, they kick them straight on which of course means they miss wide right, and by a good margin. In fact, now that I checked, 3 of the FG's that were missed were between 30-39 yards. Like I said, its not the distance, its like the kicker isnt aware that the uprights are to the left, he kicks like they are right in front of him, its weird, I dont know how else to describe it. Purdue should have put me away but thanks to leaving 12 points off the board, we are now in OT tied 34-34 where as I should have lost that game, and their kicker is a 77 with an accuracy rating of 82 but you would think he was drunk the way he is kicking. To add salt to the wound, in OT they had the ball first and he missed another one, so now all I need is a FG to win, same thing happened against Washington in my first game, missed FG in OT and I got a TD to win it.

Has anyone tried raising FG Accuracy at all?

Re: What I'm using now (AA)

I won in OT just like I figured I would, 37-34 but I really should have lost, they missed 3 FG's in regulation and 1 in OT, I was -2 in the turnover battle and still won it in OT. This is the first time I kind of feel a letdown, not really with the overall sliders but Im starting to think the FG Accuracy slider needs to go up so the CPU can actually hit a FG here and there. I would be curious to see what others think, especially you Jistic since you have messed around on these the most I would think.

EDIT- Just to throw in here how the other kickers did for Washington and Utah St when I played them...

Washington Kicker 1/2 Missed FG was between 50-59 yards so not a biggie.
Utah St Kicker 1/3 Missed 2 FG's between 50-59 yards so again not a biggie.
Purdue Kicker 2/6 Missed 3 FG's between 30-39 yards and 1 between 40-49 yards, is he just a crap kicker or something? There was no wind at all, literally it was 1 mph all game long. Washingtons kicker is an 82 overall with an 84 in accuracy, Utah St. kicker is a 66 overall with a 84 in accuracy and Purdue's kicker is a 77 overall with a 82 in accuracy. It does show that Purdues kicker is the worst out of those 3 in accuracy but I wouldnt think an accuracy of 82 is so bad that they arent even kicking it remotely close to the uprights when they are not straight on.

I've had the same problems as you guys with Heisman being way too robotic and most sliders on AA being a bit too easy so I'm going to give these a shot. Pimping, I've seen the CPU miss basic FGs even with everything set on default so who knows at this point man.

Ohh well, Im not going to make it easier for me to hit them since Ive actually msised 2 chip-shots wide right with my kicker. I can live with it if it doesnt happen all the time.

I generally play with a DT and I switch if the CPU gets to the edges because otherwise my secondary takes terrible angles and gets beaten. I tried to do the no switch method until a RB ran right by my CB thanks to the angle he took and went to the house.

Re: What I'm using now (AA)

I have not really noticed any problems with FG misses, other than missing short on long attempts, they seem to be fine for me.

I play SS or FS, I switch before the play depending on what the CPU calls. That position gives me more time to react to the play.

I do agree Jistic, I do see more penalties on AA as apposed to Heisman. I also have noticed less INT's on AA as well. With your sliders of course.

I agree, the CPU has thrown 8 picks through 3 games so far so its not way out of hand, in my last game Purdue only threw 1 pick. I am noticing that when I am on the road my secondary seems to drop a lot more easy picks then they do at home, I could have easily had 3-5 INT's in that Purdue game but they dropped a bunch of them. Im also getting into the habit of pressing the swat button even when Im not controlling the player, it seems to help them bat it down instead of picking it off but Ive only just started doing this recently so more time is needed to see if it really makes a difference.

Well I just picked off 6 passes in one game. However, I was Nebraska against SMU and in 2010 my secondary is pretty ballin.

The other thing to consider in my stats is that Im using Jukemans team tendancy sliders and therefor the CPU isnt throwing as much, which obviously means less picks as well.
