Re: What I'm using now (AA)

Hey boys whats up... what can we do to improve the CPU running game... My running game is fine but I really want the CPU to move the ball on me via the ground... Anybody know how we can fix this? Jistic... anybody... what can we do?

Getting good feedback. Gonna try these in my Troy dynasty.

I am just killing everyone that I play now with these. Maybe I am getting better?? I beat LSU with South Carolina last night 52-17. So many INT, I lost count. I have tried adjusting these and even tried other AA sliders, but everything is just too easy. I think it may be time to go back to Heisman or ditch this game completely until they patch it. That will not be hard to do anyway with Madden coming out soon.

Im not having this problem yet but for some reason this year, as I keep playing, I just dont find myself itching to get back and play another game and its almost like Im forcing myself to play the game just to get draft classes for Madden without simulating. I think a lot of it is based on the notion that Im playing half a game, and I know others will take offense to that, but as long as I cant control the CPU through slider manipulation without messing with my own team in the process, then imo, Im playing half a game.

When you cpu gets the ball, might wanna try jacking up the run blocking and rb abl sliders as was suggested in another thread.

Tedious, but might be worth it.

Try AuburnAlumni's OS Legend slider set.
I too was finding this set too easy.
AA's are perfect if you ask me, it is a challange to win games using his.

Again try AuburnAlumni's OS Legend slider set!
I too was having a hard time getting myself to play anymore until I tried his set.
I can believe more people are not using his set.

Well, in AA's own words, it either play Heisman and deal with no pressure, robo QB and ridiculous passing stats from the CPU. Play All-American and get pressure, have a realstic time stoping their passing game but watch their running game go in the toilet. I might give them a shot but Im not down because I am dominating with these sliders, its more because it just isnt grabbing my interest like it has in the past, but that has nothing to do with winning or losing.

Re: What I'm using now (AA)

In my next game Im playing at USC so we will see how these sliders play out against a team that should beat me. Purdue should have beaten me thanks to missed FG's they didnt but my rating was better then theirs, USC on the other hand is something like a 91 while Im an 81 so it will be interesting.

EDIT- Well, opening kickoff and they return it for a TD, I might have to start Super Simulating my kickoffs to the CPU now because that was the biggest load of **** Ive ever seen in this game so far. ****er broke 4 tackles somehow while my guys ran to be blocked instead of trying to make the play. I was already super simulating my own punt and kickoff returns but apparently Im going to have to extend this to the CPU returns as well.

Its now halftime and Im down 17-0, I must not be that good since others are blowing teams out and Im not moving the ball at all against USC right now, I literally only have 92 yards of total offense in the first half. My only saving grace is Ive gotten pressure on USC and have 5 sacks at halftime. Its too bad I wasnt super simulating my kickoffs and punts to the CPU since if I was it would only be a 10-0 game right now. I dont expect to win this game but I would like to be competitive so we will see how the second half plays out.

Re: What I'm using now (AA)

Well, I shouldnt admit this here since apparently I suck and am going to hear about it but I just lost at USC 38-0, it was the most ridiculous, lop sided game Ive ever played in all of the years that Ive played video games. I managed 260 yards of offense but nothing I did worked for any period of time, screen pass was bobbled, picked and returned for a TD, rushing was pathetic as all hell, my QB was overthrowing guys when he wasnt throwing it short of the receivers, pathetic. I missed a FG, couldnt cover the opening kickoff since that resulted in the first TD of the game, couldnt stop the run since they finished with 145 yards rushing. They ran 79 plays to my 58, too many plays but Im not sure how it got so out of hand since it didnt seem that lopsided while I was actually playing the game. Ohh well, hopefully it doesnt completely ruin my recruiting chances and destroy my season in the process.
