exactly. just set it the way he has them and try it out for yourself.

Here's a few slight modifications that were made based on the feedback. It's nothing big and most of you probably already tweaked it yourself.

RBA-35/35....(Now RB's can get to the edge a little quicker if you were having trouble with it at 30)

Human INT-15....(I dropped this down from 25 since this seemed to start creating too many turnovers-You can go lower if you like but then the DB's seem to stop trying to make a play)

Human BRK BLK-15.....(I was still blowing up too many plays in the backfield since I control a DL)

CPU TKL-75.....(The slight increase in RBA started creating too many broken tackles for me personally-I wouldn't reccomend this setting if your not a skilled runner)

Human/CPU KO Power-75/90....(This may still be too high for some of you but I prefer to cut down on the field posistion and force the offenses to start more often between the 25-35 yard line)

Thanks for the feedback and I hope this improves the Final Version a little more....but remember there is no perfect slider setting we aren't all going to agree on everything. I just wanted to help make the game a little more playable, fun and hopefully challenging.

Re: AA sliders posted by Playmakers

I have done some testing on the OFFENSE and DEFENSE CPU sliders and they don't work. I am NOT sure about special teams. They seem to work to me, but maybe I am crazy. Has anyone really tested them out (special teams)? Auburn Alumni, have you tested special teams (CPU) sliders yourself?

Re: AA sliders posted by Playmakers

The special teams on here are the only weakness, but otherwise, after all of the testing I have done, these are the best sliders on the board, at least for me. I get realistic yard totals and games play out like they should. I lost 6-3 to VT, then beat Miami 14-13, and then beat Duke 45-10. I love these sliders and made the game awesome to me again. I know, they sliders supposedly don't work, but you know what, for some reason they feel like they do.

Re: AA sliders posted by Playmakers

Guys, if you put the CPU Kickoff slider to 0 there is a big difference from when you put it on 100. The Kickoff slider works in my opinion. I am not sure about the other special teams sliders yet however. The Offense and Defense CPU sliders definitely do not work. They are combined with the Human sliders for sure.

heisman/varsity sliders:

Quote:
I wasn't going to do anymore sliders for the game until I played on varsity today and now I'm not sure which level is best for me. It does appear Varsity keeps things smoother on the field from what I saw after a few games today.

Here's my starting point on Heisman and Varsity sliders. I'll tweak them each about 2-3 times and see what happens. The big difference on Heisman is that I don't feel the CPU needs a defensive AWR to compete as long as you keep their other sliders up high.

Heisman

Offense
50/50
50/50
10/10
50/50
50/50

Defense
10/10
90/90
50/50
100/100
10/10
-------------------------------------
Varsity

Offense
35/35.....(For some reason I can live with this on Varsity but not the other levels)
0/0
20/20
45/45
100/100

Defense
0/100
70/100
0/85
5//100
0/85

heisman update:

Quote:
I made my 2nd adjustments to the Heisman sliders.

The goal is to keep everything as equal as possible so that I don't give much of an advantage to either side. Hopefully by the 3rd tweak (final adjustments) it'll make heisman level a blast to play on without all the headaches this level can create during game play.

My approach on Heisman level is to try and keep things as low as possible because when you start jacking up every slider too high the game feels like a car wreck when players collide and guys also start doing too many unrealistic stuff.

Heisman Level

8 MINUTES

HUMAN/CPU
QBA-50/50
PASS BLK-40/40....(Trust me you are going to feel some pressure)
WR CATCH-50/50
RB ABLTY-50/50
RUN BLK-90/90

DEFENSIVE SLIDERS
AWR-50/50.........(You can also set this at 10/10 and get good balance)
KNDWS-90/90
INT-10/10
BRK BLK-40/40
TKL-10/10

SPECIAL TEAMS
FG Power-0/0
FGA-25/25
PUNT Power-50/70
PUNT Accuarcy-50/50
KO Power-70/70

Re: AA sliders posted by Playmakers

final heisman:

Quote:
Ok I'm done with Heisman Level now.....

I think I've accomplished what I was looking for and that was to make them have a AA level type feel to it. If the AA sliders get too easy for you give the Heisman sliders a shot but I caution you do not take the low the Defensive AWR of the CPU for granted because I've built there defensive sliders around that AWR that will allow them to challenge you.

Once again there is no advantages on either side of the ball. The pass block slider may appear to be too high but there's a timer in the CPU's QB head that I've found out makes him shaky and poised at times. If he thinks he has time to go deep he will try to take some shots. But if you start lowering this slider down he's going to start looking short all game long.

You'll have to trust your DB's and sometimes just let them try to make the play on ball for you. I also wouldn't suggest setting the Int slider to zero because it greatly effects the DB's aggressiveness in coverage.

The KDWN slider being high helps but if you zero out the INT slider essentially it's telling your DB's to play "CONSERVATIVE" on everything and since EA greatly reduced the AWR ratings of the DB's in this years version compared to 07 and 08. That's why it's important to have the Int slider utilized this year because it gives them a slight boost up in their ratings on the field.

HEISMAN LEVEL (FINAL VERSION)

8 MINUTES

HUMAN/CPU
QBA-50/50..........(You can try 40-45 aswell but default is my preference
PASS BLK-40/40...(Trust me you are going to feel some pressure)
WR CATCH-5/5
RB ABLTY-35/35
RUN BLK-65/65

DEFENSIVE SLIDERS
AWR-5/5
KNDWS-90/90
INT-5/5
BRK BLK-90/90
TKL-10/10

SPECIAL TEAMS
FG Power-0/0
FGA-25/25
PUNT Power-50/70
PUNT Accuarcy-50/50
KO Power-70/70

ALL PENALTIES AND SUB'S ARE THE SAME AS AA LEVEL
