Krodis' Heisman Sliders

These are sliders I made using Firktaf's as a base. Big props to him, as he made the game a lot more enjoyable in general, but I

made some minor alterations that I really think bring it all together:

Heisman
7-8 Minutes (I've been doing 7, but 8 might get a more realistic number of plays, depending on how fast you snap the ball)

Revision 2:

Offense (Hum/CPU)
QB A: 40/50
PB: 5/50
WR C: 20/50
RBA: 85/50
RB: 100/50

Defense (Hum/CPU)
Awareness: 90/50
Knockdowns: 75/65
Interceptions: 30/30
Break Block: 100/20
Tackling: 90/40

Special Teams (Hum/CPU)
FG Power: 40/40
FG Accuracy: 5/5
Punt Power: 50/50
Punt Accuracy: 50/50
Kickoff Power: 60/60

I've been getting completion percentages around 60% for both teams. Ints don't seem to be a huge problem either. Pass rush is still iffy.

Once again, all the credit in the world to Firktaf, but I thought I could make some tweaks to make the sliders even better.

Basic tweaks I made to Firktaf's sliders:
RBA down, RB up
Minor defensive tweaks
PB down

Criticisms, etc; welcome.

Re: Krodis' Heisman Sliders

i just played a quick game with michigan vs. clemson (7 minute quarters) and i had an enjoyable experience. then again, it was only one game, but i like what i saw.

it was a defensive battle throughout the first quarter until i finally scored on a goal line drive in the 2nd. it stayed 7-0 until late in the 4th quarter when i stopped their drive on a 4th down (they would have gotten a 1st down if their receiver didn't step out of bounds while catching the ball, phew). about two plays later from where i took over, i took advantage of a blitz and scored on a hb screen.

then they got the ball back and i blitzed at the right time, forcing their qb to throw the only interception in the game (i was very careful with my passes the whole game). i took advantage and scored on that drive with seconds left to go, so the score is a little misleading. it was a close game the whole time throughout. final: 21-0

Re: Krodis' Heisman Sliders

Had an AMAZING game today with these sliders in Week 2 of my Dynasty

Nebraska defeated SJSU(me), 41-31

Passing:
Joe Ganz: 18-25, 199, 1 TD, 0 INT, 72%
Kyle Reed 20-32, 335, 3 TD, 2 INT, 62%

Rushing
Marlon Lucky: 32 for 260, 8.1 avg, 5 TD, 17 Broken Tackles (the BKT is a concern)
Dominique Hunsucker: 17 for 102, 6.0 AVG, 2 TD, 1 BKT. (A lot of it was on a long run, so don't mthink I dominated on the ground)

I got 4 sacks on them, they got 5 sacks on me

Statistical anomalies: 17 Broken Tackles for Lucky, 4 Pancakes for one of the Nebraska WR's (Otherwise pancakes looked fine, I'll chalk that up to luck).

Normal issues:
CPU Comp%: 72% here, but I think the gigantic talent difference makes this okay. Further testing is needed, of course

Pass Rush: Not really any problems, sack number is fine. bit of a tendency to get no pressure at all when not getting sacks, but again, talent difference.

CPU Run Game: Yeah... Lucky destroyed me. No problems I can see. I expected him to run all over me.

Difficulty: Don't let the score fool you, they pretty much kicked my butt. A few big plays kept me in it.

Overall, EASILY my best game yet. Hopefully some more people can try these out and I can get more feedback. Considering raising defensive awareness on both sides, but the score came out looking okay considering the teams, so I'm not gonna do that just yet.

Had another good game with these sliders, but I decided to turn up Defensive Awareness 10 for both sides and I'll see the results.

Re: Krodis' Heisman Sliders

Another awesome game with the sliders, best game yet:

SJSU(me), defeated Stanford 44-41 in 2OT (was 34-34 at end of regulation.)

Passing:
Kyle Reed: 19-32, 164 yards, 1 TD, 1 Int
Tavita Pritchard: 20-30, 250 yards, 2 TD, 3 INT

Rushing:
Dominique Hunsucker: 30 for 147 and 1 TD, 4.9 AVG
Anthony Kimble: 20 for 95 and 2 TD, 4.7 AVG

I had 3 sacks, they had 1.

Once again, they had a receiver with a couple pancakes. Don't know what's causing that.

Really not too many problems here. My defense sucks, so 66% comp percentage isn't a concern at all. A bit concerned it might be too easy, and Ints might be a concern, but not a big one. I'm getting a good number of sacks, so that isn't a concern. Computer run game seemed good.

So, Human D awareness is up to 90 and CPU d awareness is up to 50, and I think I certainly liked the results.

Quick Edit: I had bumped Human tackling back up to 85, and I still think CPU broken tackles are high, so I'm bumping it up to 90 and testing the results.

Yeah. Actually, it is my THIRD double overtime game (out of 5 total games!) since using Firktaf, and then my, sliders.

Game ended after I hit a field goal in the second overtime, and then picked them off to finish it out.

Thanks for the props, man! I must've noticed the same things as you with that first set of my sliders as those were some of the changes I made as well to the updated set. Our current numbers are still different though. I'll try and get a game in eventually(if I can get away from answering questions on these boards and actually get some games in, lol) with your set and see how they work.
