Re: FistofRage's Heisman sliders...

So you running a power O with PA????.....have you tried these with spread teams like WVU/Illinois???

Im pretty adept in the ways of the option spread, but this years game has definitely made it harder on me this year...and you really have to be precise(Been using RB 100...D Awr 90..BB 0). With the Run Block that low it seems like the CPU would gain a pretty good advantage in shedding my blockers and eating me up in that 3-4 yard range.

Essentially Im worried about the ability to break the big one...considering I have to do a lot of work with Receivers and audibles already with the settings I listed, to take it to the house from a distance. And Busting one up the middle on an option read is extremely difficult

They should definitely work. They are probably more accurate than my method, but I was ticked tht you could only go up/down in increments of 5 so I just rounded.

Use my latest set. The AI started picking me apart too much with Awareness at 50.

Re: FistofRage's Heisman sliders...

Stats: Oklahoma State 14 at WVU(Me) 27 6 min qtr

Passing:
WVU:
Brown 12 of 14 for 130 yards 1 TD...Sowers 3 of 3 for 47 yards

OSU:
Robinson 11 of 15 for 125 yards 1 TD 2 INTs

Rushing:
WVU:
Devine 22 att for 101 yards 4.5 avg. 1 TD Long 26...Kerns 7 att for 30 yards 3.2 avg 1 TD Long 9...Brown 4 att 9 yards

OSU: Toston 10 att for 60 yards 6.0 avg Long 12...Robinson 10 att for 33 yards Long 10

Misc Team Stats:
WVU OSU
1st Ds 21 13
Total O 308 218
Passing 185 125
3rd D conv 10-11 3-5
TOP 15:07 8:57

Game Thoughts:

Well so far so good..not a bad game. The unthinkable happened to me though and both White and Brown got hurt leaving my spread O hampered big time. Luckily I put enough in the bank with a 17-0 halftime lead and hung on after Brown went down early in the 3rd.

Hopefully CPU INTs won't be a problem...and like any set with a low tackle...the CPU might a abuse those damm Curl routes and get and easy six with that damm catch and go animation.

I'll play some more with WVU today with these and post some more

Thanks for testing these. Can't seem to do a whole lot about the high QB %. They are in the 60, 70% alot more than in the 50%, but what can you do. I haven't seen picks as a problem, the most 1 team has had in a game is 3. Alot of games only have 1 or 2 turnovers.

Re: FistofRage's Heisman sliders...

Sorry I don't have more games for ya tonight Im just too tired right now

Stats: WVU(Me) 35 at Texas 30 7 min qtr

Passing:
WVU: White 11 of 16 for 212 yards 2 TDs 1 INT...

Texas: McCoy 22 of 32 for 276 yards 3 TD 2 INTs

Rushing:
WVU: Devine 11 att for 60 yards 5.4 avg. 1 TD Long 15...Kerns 14 att for 36 yards 2.5 avg 1 TD Long 10...White 14 att 105 yards 7.5 avg 1 TD Long 18

Texas: McGee 8 att for 35 yards 4.3 avg Long 13...McCoy 5 att for 7 yards 14 Long 4

Misc Team Stats:
WVU Texas
1st Ds 20 115
Total O 427 327
Passing 212 276
3rd D conv 11-13 5-8
TOP 17:35 10:29

Game Thoughts:
Again I was struck with another injury to a key player..Noel Devine..just as I got into a groove. Thankfully I picked up the extra load with White and got some critical 1st downs late in the game to run out the clock.

The big man Wes Lyons also was huge for me with over 150 recieving. He took some deep crossing patterns to the house.

Texas D was by and in large "nasty" in particular their safeties. They were fast as hell at getting to the line of scrimmage to stuff my option reads...Had to use the Lead blocker control to really create any kind of daylight.

McCoy threw 2 picks and while they weren't horrible..its another 2 pick game. My pick was all on me. Made a bad choice on a corner blitz.

Re: FistofRage's Heisman sliders...

I am moving pass block slider to 50 for some reason you get more pressure that way.

Re: FistofRage's Heisman sliders...

I've been using your sliders as a direction and have a few observations. I tried the pass block at 50 and still having trouble getting pressure. I was USC hosting Hawaii and was able to get free runs to the QB a few times, but part of the issue is probably Hawaii's quick throw offense. That said, USC's defensive line should probably have its way with Hawaii's offensive line on several plays. I couldn't even get there on blitzes. However, with the pass block at 0 and me as Florida St., I had trouble getting to Utah's QB. I basically played both of those games to see if a good D-line could get to an average team's QB. Conclusion: The same as everyone else who has played this game. Pressure on the QB is an issue regardless of matchup and slider setting.

I believe human running is simply too tough with these settings. It seems that if awareness is going to be jacked (I agree it has to be to a degree or the CPU just shreds you), run blocking must be raised to at least 50, maybe more. Joe McKnight (USC) had 83 yards on 14 carries for me. That doesn't sound bad, but 60 of those yards were on 2 carries and even on those he had to juke 3 guys at the line of scrimmage to get free. Seen this in several other games where a team should have a huge advantage over the D running the ball. Realistically USC would have some plays where the O-line creates a gaping hole for the back and a juke wouldn't be required until he it the secondary. This didn't happen once. I don't remember a play where a defender wasn't in position to make a tackle within 2 yards of the line of scrimmage.

The one other consistent I'm noticing with these sliders is a pick 6 fest at times. This might be another one of those things that's just going to be an issue similar to pass rush. I think I'm going to attempt putting knockdowns back to 95-100 just to see if that cuts down on the picks a bit.

Not ripping the sliders as I think you have some great things here, just sharing things I've seen.
