Even though they supposedly improved the zone coverages the CPU still picks you apart because the pass rush is too slow in getting pressure. They play a "little bit" closer but overall its nothing to noticeable like the KO/Punt coverage tweak.
Push up on the right stick right when the ball is snapped. I am not sure if I have ever gotten this to work. On the PS2, it used to notify you. I think your defensders feet are supposed to turn blue when properly executued.

pass commit is activated by tapping UP on "R Stick" immediately after the snap.

zone coverage is a lot better but since the CPU has a reflex time of 0.000 seconds coupled with knowing where all 22 players are and are going every time by definition, the CPU QB can be perfect on every play if it wants to. it controls everything, so this is a no brainer. man to man is the best IMO since you have the best chance of having someone around the WRs at all times.

I have NEVER EVER seen the color thing with any commit. Just seems that the CPU plays a little better for me on pass plays.

There have been reported blue foot sightings in the forums. I have never seen it and based on the sliders not working when the game shipped, who knows if this feature actually exists.

Is it a timing based thing like JTS and will it notify you when you execute it properly?

i have never received any notification. i don't use JTS so hard for me to compare. pretty sure its not super time sensitive, just push up right after the snap. again, it might do nothing but my LBs at least seem to cover a little better and seem to bat down more passes so i am down with it.

Keep in mind that I do mix coverages (zones are completely ineffective), blitz packages, etc. In other words I'm not trying the same stuff over and over.

Regarding the user running game, it was for the most part non existent, and that's with Chris Wells. I know I know don't use the sprint until....regardless, but I think he ran for something like 51 yards on 24 carries against Northwestern.

Robo QB. This is the worst part of it, I think the USER defensive awareness needs to be higher. Northwestern's backup QB was shredding the Buckeye defense as was Curtis Painter. Something like 20-24. With Awareness that low zone defenses are completely useless because there is no reaction from the DBs and the CPU just dinks the ball over the middle all game long.

I LOVE the challenge that these sliders present and I can see that people are getting good stats so I'm certain I need to work on my game a bit but, the issues above may be unavoidable without a few tweaks.
Since I started using m00d's penalty sliders I have not hardly seen any Robo QB. And I also see completion %'s at very realistic numbers on both sides. Try his penalty sliders that are posted on here.

Re: FistofRage's Heisman sliders...

Fist, how do you approach the ground game? Because I am having alot of trouble getting more than 2 YPC with these. I'm considering upping RB a click or two. What I do is try to find a hole, hit speed burst as soon as I see it, and go, but it seems like the DL gets off their block a split second before I get there so they always knock me back. I'm thinking if I up RB just a little, they will have to tackle me from behind and I will get a couple of extra yards.
