Re: FistofRage's Heisman sliders...

will give these a go. when are you getting back on.

i am concerned with DEF awareness being 55 but we will see.

what do you mean by now you can't throw the ball away with grounding at 100... isn't that part of football? we have to take the sack now?

Re: FistofRage's Heisman sliders...

I think the 55 awareness is a problem. Perhaps we can use 50 but 55 is not good as I had 2 pick 6's in the first quarter with michigan playing Ohio state.

now actually moving the ball and stopping their run is a nice challenge. you really have to weigh the risk reward game now with blitzing. if you blitz and they run you are basically playing with 10 guys which is not good. i wonder if you don't have cpu awareness a little high now. maybe it was just OSU but man, i threw to their players as often as to my own as they seemed to almost SUCK my pass towards them for INTS. and i can forget about running outside the tackle with a 90 speed RB with these babies... will be up middle only until 2nd level at least.

overall i like them but did NOT like my 14 points of INTs in first quarter. i think 55 is too high, we try 50? also might move cpu awareness a little so my guys get a little chance.

No you can throw the ball away all you want. All I am saying is that at 100 if you are inside the tackles, you get flagged. If I lowered it, you could throw it away inside the tackles and avoid the sack and the penalty.

I didn't see the pick 6's, but Awareness is a very touchy thing, if you got 2 pick 6's, lower it to 50.

I don't want to touch the AI sliders yet. Playing against a 99 rated team is supposed to be an excercise in frustration. Play against a weaker team and see how these sliders work, if you are still getting stuffed, lets look into it, but I was moving the ball relatively well with MSU against ND although I lost.

QBA 45/45 - This is where they sould have been if it was 40 before it was a typo.
PB 0/0
WR catch 0/0, *go up to 10/10 but no higher, I don't mind seeing drops. I think it also affects QB accuracy to some degree.
RBA 50/50 I upped defensive awareness on both sides, the defense will still run you down.
RB 25/95 No more playing the Nickel against AI 2 WR sets, they'll run hard on you.

Def Awr 55/85 - Don't go higher for the human or you may see a pick 6 festival
Knockdowns 100/95
INT 0/0
BB 100/100
Tackle 20/20 - This is the slider that I have tested the least, but it makes Power Backs worthwhile in this game, otherwise speed is the only quality RB statistic/

FG Length 30/5 still see AI booming 50+ yarders
Accuracy 0/0
KOL 60/60
Punt Lenght 0/0 - You still see punts gioing as far as they should and I believe it helps coverage - I don't see huge returns.
PA 50/50

****Very Important sliders for false start & offsides 85/85. everything else 100 except what I have listed below:
****Roughing the passer and Kicker at 5. It may be placebo, but the pass rush has become the real deal in the last few games. I got to Claussen 4, 5, & 5 times in my last 3 games with MSU. I put Rough kicker down to 5 to see if the kick blockers really go for it.
***I need to experiment with intentional grounding, but at 100, I don't see the AI throwing it away and eating the sack instead. Stops human from cheesing out of a sack as well.

Thats it, like I said, play against an equal team both home & on the road and a superior team both home & on the road and report back.......

These are intended to be pretty hardcore, My goal is to kick & scratch against equal rated teams and most likely get crushed against far superior teams with an occassional upset being possible against teams rated 10+ points higher.
Trying these now. I won't change anything until I've played 3 games.

1st Ohio State* at Georgia
2nd Ohio State* at Purdue
3rd Ole Miss* at Florida

Re: FistofRage's Heisman sliders...

Believe it or not the first game is in the books....at halftime!!!

Georgia-31 OSU-7

I took the lead 7-0 on the first drive of the game. After an exchange of punts Georgia tied the game. On the next kick off Brandon Saine fumbled a UGA player ran it in for 6.

After that I think the HFA got to me because they just didn't miss a thing.

Outside of another beat down from the SEC, it was pretty good. I felt the running game was right, but Stafford's 12-15 for 114 and 2tds may have been a bit much but, I'll chalk it up to the HFA.

Georgia had 112 yards rushing. The final 82 came on a TD run by Moreno. Wells had 12 carries for 39 yards.

Re: FistofRage's Heisman sliders...

Decided to play Purdue since other guy was going to. I am playing with Michigan at Michigan vs. Purdue.

I believe that with RBA at 50 the tackling might need to go to 25, I can no longer tackle anyone. I saved a highlight of this issue.

is the penalty for roughing punter at 5 making them block punt play a ton more then I have ever seen before?

I believe that 85 is way too high as I am seeing some of the bullcrap from years past with DB's having eyes in the back of their heads and knockdowns coming from defenders who aren't even manned up on the guy I am throwing it to. this could be a combo of AWR and KDN. My running game also totally stinks from SG. Purdue is stuffing me for the most part.

I am quitting with 5:50 remaining in the 4th down 35-10. Here are the stats.

MICHIGAN:
Threet 21-30 121 yards 0-TD 1-INT 70% but only 5.7/completion cause no one can get open
Minor 19 Att for 54 yards 2.8 avg 1 TD long of SEVEN! 13 YAC
Only guy doing anything is my TE who has 52 yards of which 34 are YAC

PURDUE:
Painter 24-31 260 yards 2-TD 1-INT 77% avg 10.8
Sheets 6 Att 54 yards 9.0 avg only 5 YAC
Where a big issue arrises is in WR YAC yards. Of the 260 yards above 132 of them were YAC because my DBs just fall off. I saved a video of one such catch and will load it up.

You want hard, well I think MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! If UM really goes 2-10 this year then these puppies are good. However, I believe that you have made things so hard that probably only what you do very best at is just squeezing you by. My fear is that I will be forced to only run my favorite 3 plays to have any shot of getting any first downs. I might have to abandone the entire SG running game since by the time I get to the LOS the D is already off their blocks and accelerating at me. Not sure I can win a game using UM with these.

ok, good! its not just me that sux. IMO the DEF awareness coupled with the KND completely ruins the passing game unless we are going to recruit 95+ speed guys and break the game. Also IMO you can't have a 30 difference from tackle to RBA as you get that stupid greesed pig animation too much trying to tackle little WRs. While I love to see that there are sliders out there that will challenge us, I am afraid that I would have to resort to best play only tactics to compete with these.
