Penn State LB Khairi Fortt is transferring to Cal, according to his father, per Joe Schad.

This is today's news also, I know he was going to decide later in the week, but this was just tweeted by Schad.

Carson, I downloaded the roster from your locker this morning around 6AM. Do you or CK know about which teams/players were re-done speed wise up to that point? I was thinking about using team builder and returning all the speed ratings to default. But first I am going to play a few seasons with the new rosters. It seems the speed re-rates are not nearly as drastic as last year. Like I said before after the first few years of training it should even off.

Also are the speed edits done? I can't really tell from the file but it seems all positions have been adjusted.

The best thing I can suggest for you guys is to download it from my box since I haven't had a chance to download any of the updated files since we completed the rosters. Only downside is you'd have to go through and make all the changes. The necessary changes are here in the thread though so if you don't mind putting in that work, there ya go.

There is no doubt it plays better and in theory I love the speed re-rates. It makes the roster so accurate. The problem is the computer's version of 4.4 is 95-97 and the scale you use is 90-92. And once again I am not trying to knock all the hard work. It is greatly appreciated!

That's not the issue.

I'm sure these play great in PLAY NOW games.

In fact, I almost guarantee that they do.

The issue is how they effect dynasty mode. The reason why most of us buy this game. You're making everyone significantly slower, whereas these computer generated prospects come in rated higher speed wise, but would have been on par with the default speed ratings -- how the designers of the game intended it to be.

Again try it before saying it's broken. A lot of players only moved 1 or 2 points up and down. The only ones that changed a lot are the ones that were highly overrated. You're blowing this out of proportion before you've even tested it.

If you are so put off by it then I suggest you take CW up on using the roster in his locker and go to town editing. I'm not going to argue anymore with anyone. Either use the roster or don't. Makes no difference to me.
