Re: Luvtotha9s PS3 Roster

took care of everything....I made Scott a senior and moved him to the bottom of the depth chart. I didnt get rid of him, since he had returned kicks for the BUFFs, and had a few carries

Re: Luvtotha9s PS3 Roster

hey brother....you do know that my rosters are maxed out....meaning, I cant just add people....for players to be added, someone must be taken off the roster....so when scott finds a team, or any other transfer out there finds a team...I would love to get them in...but a suitable player must be taken off for me to do that...so keep your eyes open.....any help would be appreciated.....example: say scott transfers to Colorado state....you would tell me a guy you think could be taken off colorado states roster.....cool?

The rosters look great.

I'm glad that you put Loston in. Along with Greg Reid, he's the best freshman defensive back in the country.

Some additional information on Loston is that he has great hands, excellent balls skills, excellent coverage ability and he is an excellent kick returner. He played WR in high school and has the talent of a four star WR. He also returned kicks. He's probably the fastest safety in the country next to Taylor Mays and Florida State's JaJuan Harley (who ran a 4.31 (link) in the spring and a 4.37 (link) at the 2008 Scout.com/Under Armour Combine). He plays about the same speed as Eric Berry does. He runs a 10.3 100m and a low 4.3 40. At a high school camp in Oklahoma, I believe it was, Loston was timed in the the mid 4.2s. Also, he's one of the hardest hitting safeties in the country.

Speaking of Taylor Mays, one thing I just noticed is that you have Taylor Mays' speed at a 93. I know that his coverage ability can be questioned, but one thing that can not be questioned is his speed. Pete Carroll says that Taylor Mays is the fastest player he has ever coached at USC. Taylor's 40 yard times are the fastest in the history of USC football since they started timing players. He has been timed in the mid 4.2s to the low 4.3s (electronically timed) on a consistent basis. His fastest time is a 4.25. Taylor's timed speed translates to the field. He is easily one of the fastest players in the country.

Check out this video where he runs down Jahvid Best, who is easily one of the fastest players in the country. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=26rLxHZpiKQ Mays also beats him to the corner, after taking a false first step. Keep in mind that Taylor Mays injured his knee a couple of weeks before this game and he was wearing a knee brace, also.

As for his jumping ability, in the spring, Taylor posted a documented 41" vertical and an 11'-4" broad jump.

Jake Locker easily has one of the strongest arms in the country. I would have Locker at a 94, Ryan Mallet at a 98 or 99 (Mallett possibly throws harder than JaMarcus Russell.), Sam Bradford at a 92, Greg Alexander at a 94, Dayne Crist at a 94 or 95 (Dayne likely has a stronger arm than Jimmy Clausen.), Colin Kaepernick at a 94 or 95 and Matt Barkley at a 92. Barkley has a stronger arm than Mustain and Corp and probably has the second strongest arm for a freshman QB next to Moses Alipate (Minnesota) who I would have at a 94.

Speaking of throwing ability, research John Goodman:
WR John Goodman (Notre Dame)
played QB in high school
Dayne Crist says that he has the strongest arm on the team and that he has JaMarcus Russell type arm strength.

He has excellent acceleration. He reaches top speed faster than almost every other player in the country. I would have his acceleration at 97. Also, he has amazing speed. He's one of the top two or three fastest players on his team. He consistently runs a mid to high 4.4 40. That speed easily translates to the field. I would have his speed at 91 or 92.

He consistently runs high 4.3 to low 4.4 40s.

WR Devon Wylie (Fresno State)
He's the fastest player in Fresno State history. He has been timed consistently in the mid to high 4.2s. I'm not saying those numbers are totally legit, but his speed (at least in the low 4.30s) translates to the field.

The powerfully built 6 foot back with the 4.4 speed comes with an array of moves and cuts that will play well at any of the big schools. Harper has explosive speed that makes him hard to catch once he reaches the open field, yet this is no north and south runner who relies solely on speed. Jamie flashes excellent quickness and power as well. He is able to dart through the line as easily as he can bounce a run to outside and out run a defense. When all else fails this blue chip prospect has the size to simply run over those in his way. He is difficult to bring down on the initial hit, a quality any school wants to see in their starting back. Watching him on tape you are reminded of a modern day Tony Dorsett, a Dorsett with a bit stronger upper body at this stage of development.

 - one of the best spin moves of any player in college football
 - one of the most complete backs to enter college football, in recent years
 - catches very well
 - blocks very well
 - has the ability to run people over and maintain his footing
 - very strong, especially in the upper half

RB Andre Ellington (Clemson)

Ellington has exceptional quickness and good speed. His skill set is much like C.J. Spiller's skill set. He also has superior vision and once he sees a crack of daylight Ellington shows a great burst and he’s gone. He also has the ability to change directions and makes great cuts while fully accelerated. Ellington shows quick hips, balance and great feet. He does run with some power but has more elusiveness to his game. Ellington is also a threat out of the backfield as a receiver.

QB Denard Robinson (Michigan)
"Fred Jackson has coached running backs at Michigan since 1992. He knows speed when he sees it, and he said he has never seen anything like Robinson. "I promise you this, there ain't nobody in the country who can catch him," Jackson said. "In my 18 years here, I've never seen a kid that fast. Nowhere. And I've seen some fast kids on other teams, (but) I've never seen anybody that fast. I mean, it's scary. Every time you miss him in practice, strike the band up, it's a touchdown. He's going to shock a lot of people."

Why do you think that Russell will never be their starting QB? He is not just a highly rated recruit because of his amazing athletic ability. He is also a fairly skilled passer. A 76 accuracy is way too low. I would have him at an 81. This also fits in perfectly with the ratings of the other QBs on his roster set. He is a better pure passer than Denard Robinson, Terrell Pryor, Shavodrick Beaver, Coley White, Juice Williams, Josh Nesbitt, Morgan Newton, Ebahn Feathers and other similarly skilled and rated players.

Re: Luvtotha9s PS3 Roster

I know its early but it just seems unlikely that he'll ever start unless there is an injury. I just wanted the lower Accuracy to make it play more accurate with him throwing on the run if you put him in a wildcat. Also from what i've heard, he doesnt practice with the QBs anymore. So its not because i dont think he cant do it. If you put his Accuracy higher he would be unstoppable in offline dynasty, with RB numbers and high qb passing skills. Its def not a knock on him. I love the guy.
