Re: DKrause1971 Rerated 360 Rosters

hey DKrause, I have been giving you input off and on for the past few years w/ CH 2k8, NCAA 2009 and so I will try to pitch in some stuff for ncaa 10. Anyway, I am a big Boise State fan as well as the WAC and most the other non-BCS conferences for that matter...are you eventually going to look at all of the conferences...also, I am a big equipment guy...I know last year you said you didn't really want to spend too much energy on equipment changes...are you going to incorporate equipment changes in a little more this year? Just a little equipment suggestion...for players who wear the Percy Harvin revolution, I think Revo robot is the closest...for players who use the Chase Daniel revolution, I think Revo 1 (the same facemask Larry Fitzgerald uses) comes the closest...(it is unfortunate that they did not include any new equipment options this year)

Re: DKrause1971 Rerated 360 Rosters

Alright here are Mizzou's rosters. These are pretty messed up so here is what i have done.

QB
Blaine Dalton QB 7 was a 3* 84 is too high I dropped him to a 79

Ashton Glaser QB 17 was a lower 3* I dropped him 82 to 76

Jimmy Costello QB 12 was a walk on that earned a scholly battling for backup spot 82 to a 79

HB
Devion Moore HB 26 is our quick and elusive back speed 90 to 92, agility 88 to 92, accel 92 to 93. Lower strength, catching, awareness, and trucking and raise elusiveness. I ended up dropping him 85 to 84

Jared Culver HB 25 is a walk on that will never play. Change to Kendial Lawrence #30 5’9 185 freshman from Texas. Another quick back that is very elusive. Rivals 3* 92 speed and a high spin move. Overall around 75-77

Gilbert Moye HB 10 was a 4* athlete that played safety and moved to HB this year, raise his break tackle his tape has some nasty runs. Ovr around 71-72

WR
Danario Alexander WR 81 is our 2nd best WR. Should be about an 85

Jerrell Jackson WR 29 should be our 3rd WR at 83 he is a Sophmore not RS freshman. Getting looks at PR

Wes Kemp WR 8 I dropped to 4th from 84 to 82

Jared Perry WR 4 is the second fastest player on the team behind CB Munir Prince so I gave him a bump from 91 to 93

Brandon Gerau WR 16 is white and a walk on but might play this year. I changed him to Gahn McGaffie 5’10 185 WR RS Freshman. Very elusive WR should see plenty of game time. 91-92 speed, 92 agility, 92 accel, 78 catch, around 79 overall. Or you could change Kerwin Stricker WR 19 but should be 9 to McGaffie because as of right now he is unlikely to play this year. McGaffie is 3 so another number will have to do. If you keep Stricker he was an all state hurdler so his 84 speed should be 90-91

Laroderick Thomas WR 2 never plays. I changed him to RE 2 Brian Coulter a 6’4 250 RS SR. He is our best DE I made him an 84 overall. Originally signed with FSU then went JUCO and came to Mizzou

TE
Andrew Jones TE 87 was a freshman all American should go from 78 to 85-86

Michael Egnew TE 82 is a 61. Played every game last year. Should be at least mid 70s. Fast for a TE around 86 speed and great leaping ability

LT
Taylor Davis LT 79 is 3rd string and a RS Freshman not a sophomore. Should be around a 77 because Mike Prince LT 65 is ahead of him.

LG
Austin Wuebbels LG 66 is the starter over Jayson Palmgren LG 71. I bumped him from 63 to 79

C
JT Beasely C 67 moved to RG and is 2nd team. RG 53 Travis Ruth moved to Center and is 2nd Team. Tim Barnes C 62 should be rated way higher. I bumped him from 69 to 85. He was Honorable mention All Big 12 and has started all last season.

RG
I made RG 56 John Birdwell, a walk on that won’t play, into Freshman RT 69 Jack Meiners. A 6’6 305 3* should be around a 75 overall. Also RT 70 Chris Freeman should be moved to RG.

RT
Dan Hoch 77 is a sophomore not a RS Freshman

LE
Jacquies Smith LE 3, played n every game last year and will start. Should be mid to upper 70s. I have him at 79

Brayden Burnett LE 95 was a 3* but had a big offer list I bumped him from 67 to 73

RE
Used WR 2 to create Brian Coulter RE 2 84 overall

RE 99 George White to DT

RE 85 Aldon Smith is supposed to be a monster and would have played last year but clearinghouse issues held him out. 67 to 77-79. Will be 2nd string at both end spots and might surpass Smith at LE.

DT
Andy Maples DT 92 sucks and should be our lowest dt at around a 70 also make skin dark

Sheldon Richardson DT 79 was a 5* recruit but is heading to JUCO. I made him into freshman 6’3 250 DT 51 Ty Phillips a 3* at around 74 overall

Jaron Baston DT 96 is our best DT and started every game last year, I bumped him from 77 to 80. Resonno is our 2nd string with Hamilton or White as 3rd string, I bumped him from 70 to 74

LOLB
Weatherspoon should have his strength bumped up, I raised it to an 80. He benches 475. His overall for me is a 93 which fits into the new overalls for LOLB

Tyler Crane is 2nd string and should be mid to low 70s

MLB
Luke Lambert played a lot last year and made an impact. I raised his 79 to an 83.

Will Ebner played every game last year too and is one of the hardest hitters on the team. He is 2nd string and I made him a 78.
Josh Tatum is a transfer from USC and was originally a 4*. Should be a stud but has been injured so it’s hard to say what he will do this year.

ROLB
Andrew Gachkar is the starter and should be low to mid 70s

SS Zaviar Gooden is moving to ROLB and is 2nd string

CB
Munir Prince is our KR and PR. But should not be an 81, I dropped him to 78, he has a lot of hype because he transferred from ND but is 3rd behind Kevin Rutland who I bumped from 72 to 79.

Trey Hobson also is one of the faster players on the team 87 speed to 92, also a bump to his agility and accel. He has a 40 inch vertical so his jump should go from 74 to at least 88

FS
John Moore is a walk on and won’t play. I made him Jasper Simmons a JUCO transfer. Make the skin dark, Junior, 6’1 205. About a 75 overall and will probably play this year.

I bumped up Kenji Jackson to an 80 from 77. He played all last year and made some plays late in the season.

SS
Hardy Ricks is a hard hitter so hit power should be bumped up.

Also create Jarrell Harrison a JUCO transfer that is a Junior and will share time with Ricks. 6’2 220 dark skin and has been tearing up the summer he should be around a 76-77.

K
Tanner Mills is the starter but his kick power is no 94 should be 89-90

Mizzou is a lot of work this year. Once practice starts i will create a depth chart and note which freshman are likely to play. Thanks for your hard work i hope this helps

Re: DKrause1971 Rerated 360 Rosters

Just a note for you guys...I'm doing the same thing your doing, re-rating the rosters etc...The screwed up progression model has the ability to throw these re-ratings out of whack real quick; I've done some simming and have found these to be the best results...its not exactly perfect, but seems to be working for the most part for at leas tthe first two or three seasons...

Remember progression will jump a player from 2 points to 11 points in a season...most will fall between 4 and 7...so keep that in mind; I've been using +5 as a general idea of where a player will probably progress

Seniors: Anywhere
Juniors: up to 86 (+5 91 as Senior) for the better juniors; low 90's (+5 up to a 99 as a SR) for elite NFL ready juniors
Sophomores: up to 83 (+5 likely no more than 88 as a JR); a couple of the NFL ready elite red/shirt sophomores up to 85/86 (likely up to 91/92 as a JR)...with most falling in the mid to lower 70's...at 76 (+5 81 as a JR)
Freshmen/RSFreshman: up to 78 (for players with 1st day starting potential: +5 up to 83 as a soph) most need to be in the lower 70's, maybe even lower if there is a good chance they will be redshirted or playing for a low ranking team...Most my freshman I got in the 66-74 range.(+5 71-79 as a soph or rs/frosh)

I'm up to Minnesota; so I still got about halfway to go...just figured i'd give you all some info when it comes to the progression of these players

Re: DKrause1971 Rerated 360 Rosters

Clemson Edits:

good job with what you have done.

WR#81 Jaron Brown - SPD is currently listed as a 79, not sure what they were thinking there. He is no burner, but he does warrant something better than a 79. A 88-90 SPD would be great.

LG #65 Thomas Austin was rated 93 at C, but when moved to LG it drops 3 points. Didn't know if you wanted to raise that back up to 93.

RT #70 Jamarcus Grant move to LT.

and the only other thing I see that was different from what I posted was QB #3 Willy Korn stats - and that was my fault, I didn't make clear what I was trying to say. His THP should come down about 3-5 points and his THA should increase 3-5 points, however his OVR rating should not be over 87. Or maybe you didn't want it this way... if so, it's all good!

If I see or hear about any other Roster changes through the pipeline, I will post here.

thanks for everything.

I'll likely outsource the equipment edits to another again. If you want to be that person, i would be fine with it. Just will need someone responsible and accurate.

The goal is to do bcs, mt west and boise first. So collect those Boise edits.

Re: DKrause1971 Rerated 360 Rosters

Hey DK,

Were any Big East teams changed? In another post, I asked if Robbie Fray of Connecticut could be changed to Robbie Frey, with an E, along with a change to a lighter skin tone. Link:

http://www.uconnhuskies.com/sports/m..._robbie00.html

Also, in another post I asked if Derek Carr of Fresno State could be changed to right-handed instead of left-handed. Link:

http://recruiting.scout.com/a.z?s=73...=1&nid=3417363

My last request was DJ Linehan of Toledo be changed to DJ Lenehan, with an E. Link:

Sorry for the bombardment of requests. Hope some of this info helps.

Thanks,
Patrick
