Re: Playmakers Rivals.com NCAA 09 Alumni Rosters

I am very interested in the players you will be adding to the Big 12.

Kansas--QB Bobby Douglas, David Jaynes, John Hadl
RB Gale Sayers, Delvin Williams, John Riggins

Oklahoma QB Jack Mildren
RB Greg Pruitt, Joe Washington

Nebraska QB Jerry Tagge
RB Jeff Kinney
DT Rich Glover

This seems like it will be a great roster set.

Thanks for the effort

Re: Playmakers Rivals.com NCAA 09 Alumni Rosters

Just a heads up on the QB's and how i've been getting more errant thorws into the game without the INT's oocuring.

I've been increasing the Awareness of the QB's and decreasing their accurancy. What this has done is allow for more over throws and passes off target doing game play. But they still protect the ball especially the SR QB's because of their higher awareness.

I've also lowered every single defender in the game to less than 60 for catching......that makes them attempt more deflections and just a few INT's but it doesn't look unrealistic in process.

Only the Elite DB's like Deion or Rod Woodson will have a maximumcatch rating of 65. On offense when Sanders, Woodson or Bailey playing some WR they'll still haul in some nice catches but it's also risky because they'll drop a few passes but not too many.

That is one of EA's biggest flaws with the mechanics of the game....you very rarley see errant throws but I've found away to have a guy like Quincy Carter become erratic at times but not nessarily throwing picks left and right.

Re: Playmakers Rivals.com NCAA 09 Alumni Rosters

Notre Dame is going to be one of those teams that are stacked with QB talent. It was tough but I had to leave off Lamonica and Lujack because of Montana, Rice, Theismann and Beuerlein all being SR's.

I made both Montana and Theismann RS SR's leaving the option up to the user to hold back Rice and Beuerlein one year in order for them to see the field in Dynasty mode. Keeping in mind that Rick Mirer is a JR and he'll have to waite his turn aswell. But after that it should be all Quinn for 2 years by himself since he's the only new blood at QB on the file which has him listed as a true FR.

Speaking of Montana he'll be darn near perfect on this file.

He has THP-91 THA-97 and AWR-97. His speed won't be that great in the 70's but he'll be very elusive in the pocket to help him avoid the pass rush better.

I'll also leave them in the West Coast offense which should really fit the strengths of all 6 QB's on their roster with the possible exception of Rice who will be more of a scrambler type.

Rocket Ismail has the DNA of Ted Ginn Jr and Tim Brown is a Plaxico Burress clone making them one of the top 5 WR tandems on the file.

And to punish teams on the ground if they go Nickel or Dime defensively The "Bus" will be the Power Back and Watters will be the 3rd down back. They'll both get plenty of touches though because I decreased the Stamina of the RB's to make them rotate throughout the game more often.
