MARK MESSNER
The two-time All-American selection started all 49 games of his career after redshirting in 1984. Messner was named the MVP of the 1986 Fiesta Bowl in which he registered nine tackles, forced a fumble, and recovered another in Michigan's 27-23 win over Nebraska. He is Michigan's all-time leader in tackles for loss (70) and sacks (36).

Morrall played three seasons for the Spartans, leading them to a 9-1 regular season record in 1955. He capped his senior year with a victory over the UCLA Bruins in the 1956 Rose Bowl game.
