NCAA Football Online>PS3 4* or Lower Dynasty

Well ... I'm not giving up any time soon.

UCLA at Stanford: The Bruins scored early and often en route to a 49-0 stomping of the Cardinal. The adjustments in sliders were apparent as UCLA controlled the game throughout. UCLA was able to move the ball effectively putting up 544 yards. Unlike past performances, they defense played well in holding the Cardinal to just 219 yards.

Story of the day, however, was not the potent offense or the improved defense. The real story was what happened late in the first half. On a Stanford punt, T. Austin was held up by three guys during the return. As he went to the ground, the ball came out. Stanford recovered the punt. I was certain that I would see the "play under review" sequence after calling my defensive play, but I was unpleasantly surprised when I saw my defense take the field. Certain that Austin went down, I figured I would give the worthless coaches challenge a try. It's never worked before, but why not? I'll be damned if they didn't overturn the call. First time in I don't even know how many years it's been and I finally win a challenge.

UCLA improves to 4-0. [Reply]

Heh, I almost feel like quitting because it is way too easy. If I dont get a challenge from USC in a couple games, I think I am gonna quit cuz it just isnt interesting. [Reply]

The problem seems to be that some people don't have any trouble with the CPU and others say it is to hard. Not sure what to do. [Reply]

There are winners and losers in everything. I like the CPU giving me a challenge. In my other OLD, which uses default AA sliders, the CPU is a joke and everything is about the H2H games. Regardless of what you do with the sliders, we'll have some guys that are better than others. I say you leave it alone. [Reply]

Yeah, I am not asking for anything to be changed because I see some people are struggling. I probably should have just been a team like Army or something, which is usually what I do. All my dynasties so far apart from being Oregon State have been SMU, Temple, Tulane, Idaho, San Diego State. I dont like playing with good teams. I will stick it out for at least more games. If I go maul USC in the Coliseum though, it will just get boring. Dont change anything for me though, there are plenty of people in the dynasty and if youre adding more, you guys can stick with what youre doing without me. [Reply]

Despite 4 dropped interceptions, multiple fumbles, dozens and dozens of missed tackles, numerous acrobatic catches by opposing WRs, and one physics defying long pass for Arizona State: http://www.easports.com/media/play/image/12996221 , #24 Oregon State defeated Arizona State 41-31 to improve to 5-0, 2-0 in the PAC 10 behind a 6 touchdown performance by Jacquizz Rodgers, who for the first time this season, had to play all 4 quarters because of the misleading close score of the game. Lyle Moevao went 13-17 for 290 yards 1 TD to Jacquizz Rodgers and one amazing interception by a leaping LB who was facing away from the QB the entire play. Jacquizz ran 37 times for 161 yards and 5 touchdowns. He made the most of his one reception, going 66 yards for a TD on a screen. His brother James Rodgers added 66 receiving yards as well, and Damola Adeniji and Darrell Catchings added 68 and 70 respectively. Oregon State was outpassed for the game 301-290 though Oregon State threw 14 fewer passes, and outgained Arizona State 189-27 on the ground with a 53-27 rush total. Oregon State hosts Stanford next week before taking a bye week into the Coliseum. [Reply]

Had a great game with Iowa. He ended up winning. He went up 14 to start the game I eventually pulled ahead but he got the gw td with 1:30 to go I had 4 straight bad pass plays that didnt work and that was that. [Reply]
