I have absolutely nothing wrong with Florida's scores and you are doing an excellent job in not running up the score on far inferior opponents. Same with Cal.

Well thank you, I hate running it up and having unrealistic stats. I try to play as close to what I see on Saturdays. U shouldn't get 300yds rushing,200yds receiving and 10td passes every game. But believe me it gets kinda hard keepin it close against FCS, my 2nd string came in like halfway through the 2nd quarter. [Reply]

I know it is really hard and appreciate you doing that.

Okay guys we have advanced. I will be posting more stats, leaders, results, POWs, NCAA leaders, ect tomorrow morning. I need to get some sleep.
Expect us to advance tomorrow night. Oh there has been some minor slider adjustments as well that should help.

Thanks guys! So far so good! [Reply]

CAL wins 34-24 despite having 4 turnovers.

Cal started the day off a little bit differently then other games. After commin out of the huddle for the first play QB Kevin Riley noticed that were 8 men in the box. Riley then audibles to a pass play and picks up a first down on a throw to TE Tad Smith the next four plays after were all pass plays as Riley led the team down the field. After being stopped in the backfield, RB Jahvid Best takes the hand-off 28 yards for a touchdown. Minnesota would answer back on a 4 yard run by QB Adam Weber. End of the first quarter it was all tied at 7. Beginning of the second quarter Riley would lead his team down the field again and Jahvid Best would score from 5 yards out. After a 3 and out by Minnesota, Best would take his turn to lead his team down the field and the drive was capped of by a one yard touchdown by RB Shane Vereen. Cal controlled the clock in the third quarter but could only manage a field goal. 24-10 going into the fourth Cal would play conservative and handed the ball off to Best and Vereen as they would shuffle out after a couple plays to stay fresh. Minnestoa would battle back with a 51 yard run by RB Deleon Eskridge and a 14 yard pass to WR Hayo Carpenter but after failing to to get the onside. Cal would take a couple of knees to burn the clock. QB Kevin Riley threw for a season high 280 yards but also had a season high 3ints. The first turnovers of Cal season. Cal defense did play better this week giving up 301 yards instead of the 400+yards the gave up in back to back games. Cal will travel to Oregon to open up confrence play.

Texas squeaks by with tough win vs the Red Raiders 24-7
Once again the defense comes through, forcing 6 sacks and 2 interceptions with a forced fumble to dominate the red raiders in Austin. Colt McCoy struggled, going 14-30 for 157 yards 2 td and 2 int, but Vontrell McGee stepped up gaining 136 yards and a touchdown to seal the victory.
Vondrell's touchdown came while burning the clock in the 4th quarter as time expired after Taylor Potts' 2nd int of the game was thrown

Texas leaders:
McCoy- 14-30 157 yards 2 td 2 int.. hurts his heisman stock
Vondrell McGee- 30 attempts 136 yards 1 td, 2 catches 27 yards 1td
Malcolm Williams 4 catches 45 yards 1td

Defense: team as a whole 10 sacks 2 int 1 forced fumble
Eddie Jones 7 tackles 6 for loss, 4 sacks 1 int 1 forced fumble.. how can that not be player of the week material
Sergio Kindle 8 tackles 4 for loss 3 sacks
Lamaar Houston 5 tackles 1 tfl 2 sacks [Reply]

Florida Handles Tennessee 40-23
Florida played their second consecutive game in the rain but it did not affect them as they pulled out a win that was much closer than the scored indicated.

Tennessee opened with a quick touchdown and Florida answered with a FG. Both teams held each other until Tim Tebow ran for a touchdown late in the first quarter.

In the second Florida got a TD run from Jeff Demps for 11yds but Tenn answered with a 15yd pass from Crompton to Stocker. Throughout the first half both teams were putting a lot of pressure on each other and both offenses were hard to stop. The game changing moment though came in the 2nd quarter with 1:38 left. Tennessee was driving deep in Florida territory when Janoris Jenkins picked off Jonathan Crompton and took it back 90yd for a TD. Going into half Florida led 27-14.

In the third it was only field goals as Florida got a 45 and 38yd field goal and Tenn a 21yd FG. In the forth Tennessee looked to spark a comeback as they got a TD from Crompton to Richardson. But Florida controlled the ball in the 4th quarter and picked up a late TD to seal the win.

Florida had 416yd of total offense with 92yd rushing on 32 carries and 324yd passing. Tennessee had 419yd of total offense with 202yd rushing on 32 carries and 217yd passing.

T. Tebow 22/42 324 1 TD 1 INT

J. Demps 14 CAR 46yd 1 TD
T. Tebow 14 CAR 34yd 1 TD

D. Nelson 8 CTH 99yd
B. James 5 CTH 80yd
D. Thompson 2 CTH 73yd 1 TD

C. Dunlap 7 TK 5 TFL 5 SK
J. Jenkins 4 TK 1 INT

Haha im still getting crap for "meat!?" Geez, I guess I will never hear the end of that one! I would love to meat (<
Hmm I guess I never noticed that. I didnt think Herron was in on his TD either, but oh well. That was one hell of a game. That was what college football is all about in my mind. I would much rather watch an SC game like that instead of a blow out win. I was really impressed with the Buckeye defense and I hope you guys win out. Always like the football team there. Tressel maybe a conservative coach but he sure has a lot of class and it shows on his players. For that physical of a game, I saw a lot of class and a lot of guys helping each other up. No cheap shots either. Good to see.

That wont be the last Ohio State SC game!

And to the quick, Im sure you have figured it out, but you only need to be connected to the internet when you start the game and then when you hit end game at the end of the game. If your not connected at the end of the game it will let you know and tell you to connect, so that you do have a chance to upload the results.
Looks like you got it though.

Everyone notice the minor slider changes at all?
Looks like FL (I hate Kiffen) and Texas had good games. Nebraska I know is playing his now, and Im about to play mine, so we should keep this thing rolling.
Ill post more stats and stuff after next week. I still got a bunch of work to do thats kinda holding me down. [Reply]
