We have a couple of battles going on. The nice thing is I kind of try to avoid a bunch of battles with other users because it usually could waste some time.
What are you guys's recruiting strategies? Do you just go for the highest rated guys that have interest in your school? Or do you find guys that match what you want and what your looking for?
I just try to fill the spots I need, plus a few guys down the road. I hate getting slow players at certain positions, so I try to avoid that too.

CAL runs through FCS WEST winning 56-16.
but before the game recap, the reason for the restart is when my game finished the servers were down and i guess didn't save the game. Trust me i rather have had the first game after what you read.
Cal came into the game thinking this would be an easy win. After the first quarter ended the crowd was worried after giving up an opening drive for a touchdown on a 33 yard run. The bad would continue after a safety on the kickoff. Cal is down 9-0 5 min and 4 seconds in the first quarter but Cal would rebound. After a three and out RB Jahvid Best takes the hand-off 41 yards for a touchdown but, FCS would bounce back taking their next possession and scoring on a 74 yard touchdown run. Cal then scores on there next two possesion on a 2 yard run by Jahvid Best and a 70 yard run by Jahvid Best. At the end of the first quarter it was 21-16 Cal. That would be the end of the scare as Cal would shut down FCS and score 28 points in the second quarter. After half the coach would put in all the back-ups and Cal would take the opening drive and score on a 16 play 94 yard drive that would take 6 min and 15 seconds of the third quarter. The drive was finished after a 2 yard run by RB Shane Vereen. Cal is still having trouble on defense giving up 438 total yards to FCS but caused 3 turnovers and had 3 sacks. Cal defense might have the bend but don't break rule but things will have to change as the season goes on. Next week Cal will go on the road and face Minnesota.

Texas blasts Wyoming on the road for 2nd win
It started out bad with Wyoming putting up 14 quick points to make it 14-0, then Texas responded with 28 unanswered points to finish the game 56-21. Wyomings first play of the game was an 80yard rushing td, but other than that they were slowed down by the furious texas d, with the defense recording 11 sacks, 3 interceptions and a fumble recovery.
Overall player of the game is Lamarr Houston, who recorded 5 sacks and recovered a fumble. Offensive player of the game was Colt McCoy who was 23-40 for 385 yards 5 td and 2 int, while adding 25 on the ground with 2 tds.

Oklahoma State defense had 5 sacks on C. Keenum and C. Turner and forced 7 turnovers (4 interceptions and 3 fumbles) to put Houston away. On offense it was the Dez Bryant show as he added 2 TDs to put the game out of reach. Bryant was a one man wrecking crew as he caught 15 of the 22 completed passes by Robinson.

I understand the servers have been really acting up this evening. I have had trouble with them and so have others.
Seems like Best is having a monster season so far. Ill have to try to prepare for him.
Okay, so I want to here some of your thoughts on some of the settings. Its weird, settings definitely act differently in different dynasties. I swear, I get different results with these in my offline dynasty and my buddy has them in his dynasty and they act differently there.
What I think needs to be changed. Combo of CPU running back ability, and User run blocking. The running back ability I thought was fixed when I tested them offline, but I think it is still a little high (too zig zaggy of running). Anyone agree with that? Also pass blocking on both sides? It seems as if everyone is getting at least 5 sacks a game which would end you up with 60+ in a season, which is unheard of. I know SC had 32 in 04 or 05 and that was an extremely high number, so for multiple teams to have around 60ish sacks in a season is not very realistic.
Whats everyones thoughts on that? The settings would not kick in until the week advanced.

As far as the servers down issue coming out of a game. I had that after mine and I just kept hitting retry now and waiting a bit and then hitting it again. Eventually it goes through.
I can't really say too much on sliders since i've played 2 crappy teams. I haven't had 2 many sacks, beyond wat I think would be realistic for florida against Troy and FCS but I don't play as the DL either so that'd prolly make a difference. For the offense side I would say their DL was getting a little too much pressure too often. But I will let you know after my next game against Tennessee.
