Gators Washout Troy 45-14
It was a wet one today in Gator Country as Florida avoided a possible let down heading into next week's game against Tennessee thanks to the performance by Tim Tebow.
He led the Gators to 2 first quarter touchdowns with a pass to Riley Cooper for a 28yd TD and then on the next drive he took it in himself with a 2yd run. Troy picked up 2 second quarter touchdowns due to some spotty Gator defense but they went into halftime down 28-14.
In the second half it was all Florida. Tebow threw a TD to Brandon James on the first drive of the 3rd quarter and then his day was done. In the forth Emmanuel Moody had a 1yd TD run and the kicker Jonathan Phillips had a 27yd FG.
Florida finished with 522yds of total offense including 222yd rushing on 41 carries and 300yd passing on 21-35 and 1 interception. Troy had 253yd total with -27yd rushing and 280yd passing.
T. Tebow 16/29 236yd 2 TD 1INT
J. Brantley 5/6 64yd
J. Demps 14 car 82yd 1 TD
C. Rainey 9 car 56yd
T. Tebow 11 car 80yd 2 TD
R. Cooper 3 rec 54yd 1 TD
D. Nelson 5 rec 73yd
B. James 4 rec 38yd 1 TD

It's always easy to recruit at Florida and USC. :-) Try being the ugly woman on the block..... :-) A&M = the fat stripper on the block, haha.
FYI Texas A&M had a solid week of recruiting and just now realized my early schedule SUCKS for picking a visiting week. Shall it be the exciting UAB weekend?

Ha, sadly it is easy to do. I am in multiple dynasties with Oregon State and Nevada, so I know how it is to recruit with other teams. Actually the toughest one I have had was my terrible Team Builder team from Alaska.

Ha do you play a lot of early away games? At least UAB is a guaranteed win... I hope

My toughest job was Idaho last year. I have not been brave enough to tackle that one yet, although the Kippie Dome is cozy. :-)
Thanks for waiting this weekend for me. It was nice to come back and play a game.

No just not a good schedule in terms of recruiting this yr.
Week 2 bye
3 - Utah State
4 - UAB
5 - Arkansas
6 - OK St.
7 - @ KSU
8 - @ TTU
9 - Iowa St
10 - @ CU
11 - @ OU
12 - Baylor
13 - Texas
14 - BYE
If this is the real A&M schedule it's pretty unbalanced with only 4 away games, but I'll need every advantage in order to beat OK St. and OU at home, they simply have way too much speed versus me.
So DOS can I talk you into accepting a 3* or below SEC school for yet another dynasty? You would make the 3rd SEC school (South Carolina and Arkansas are the others) in addition to the three big ten and three acc schools we have.

Haha, sadly, that is their real schedule. It is just like Penn States where they somehow get to play only 4 away games. BS in my mind.
How often do you advance? Im not a big SEC fan at all, so Im not sure. I just dont get around to playing NCAA as much as I used to, so if its not too fast paced, then I will probably be down.

Recruiting is good. I love getting insta commits from the #2 CB in the country. But I can't say it will be that easy for the big schools because at least for my guys there are 4-5 other user teams on their list. So we should have some good battles. I'm pretty sure A & M is on the top of 1 good guy i'm going after so it isn't all bad for ya pielet.
