We're kicking back off as soon as the damn servers allow it. I set everything up and the dynasty servers aren't available. Will do this ASAP. Here are the teams as of now. There are a couple who are iffy so I'll know something soon since I haven't talked to a couple guys lately.

We'll talk about the rules and I'll post more in the next couple days and I'll add them in this post.
Recruiting must be stepped up on the parts of some of our users. Some guys didn't recruit last year and it ruined some teams. THIS WILL NOT BE TOLERATED AND IF IT LOOKS LIKE YOU AREN'T DOING YOUR PART IT WILL MEAN REMOVAL FROM OD ON THE SPOT! I can't emphasize this enough. We'll use most of the rules from last season but there will be some changes. I urge you to make any suggestions.
As for the name, I put the guys who made this thing go. Several contributed but these were the guys who made it happen. Just a small token of thanks.
Difficulty
Games will be played on Heisman Level
Games will be seven minute quarters
Schedule
We play two season weeks per calendar week. So calendar week 1 is weeks 1 and 2 in the game. Weeks where there are only cpu games will only allow a day or two at most.
Weeks when we all play CPU games will only allow 1 or 2 days MAX. Other weeks during Out of Conference where there are only 2 or 3 Head to Head games will only allow 2 days.
If you reschedule a BCS non-conference game, you must make it a home and home series.
If you play anything like real teams do- you'll never have a problem. These rules apply to CPU games as well.
1. WR at TE, or HB/WRs at QB, RB in for FB in the depth chart online. These are mainly speed exploits. **This is up for debate***
*** I'm willing to look into playing a Power HB at FB on some occasions. No 90+ spd HB's at FB in the I or Off-Set I but I think the improvements in A.I. will allow us to use more dual HB's. Dual HB's have always been allowed in shotgun formations.
2. Onside kick every time- This isn't even kind of realistic. 4th Quarter during typical circumstances is allowed.
3. Hike the ball and sprint left or right to the sideline or drop back 20 yards to pass. No tolerance for this one.
4. Taking a DE and moving him 5 yards outside the OL and speed rushing around. You can still call DL spread or whatever, Just don't manually move the player too wide.
5. Manually dropping a DL back into coverage- the AI has problems with it. Just call a zone blitz if you want to do this.
6. On Defense,
we must use a minimum 3-man Front. No 1-5-5's or anything similar. 3 down linemen are required at all times. OL/DL AI screws up anything less.
7. No Rocket Catching- Which is taking the receiver mid play and using the turbo to sprint past the DB, meaning if you are running a corner fade to the endzone you don't take control and simply outrun the defender. It's made available to get position on poorly thrown balls.
!!!***This also includes
Strafe Catching. It is cheesing. Don't exploit an issue the game has. Again, this is cheese, and we're not going to be cheesers.
If you're not fully aware of what Strafe Catching is, then ask to be sure. It's manually controlling the WR and using the strafe button and manually jumping to catch the pass. It is practically unstoppable it is a broken feature like most of us have been subjected to for years. Bottom line is, if you like to cheese and insist on cheesing, you'll be replaced quickly and you can play online all you wish with fellow cheesers.
***We have added one situation where user catching in allowed. You can user-catch on "Endzone Fades". This is the only situation when user-catch is allowed on offense. Corner Routes in the endzone is the main reason you should ever user-catch.
*** I suggest the ability to user catch once a ball is deflected either once the QB is hit and the ball floats around in the backfield or just passed the LOS, or even when the ball is deflected in the Def. backfield. This is more of a natural reaction for both sides.
8. Be careful about over-using or abusing the pitch glitch on option plays. It is instinctive to get rid of the ball but don't let the broken pitch be your main weapon. The same goes with money plays. Mix it up. Don't take advantage of weaknesses the game has. There are plenty of them.
Things to limit
1. No huddle entire game- Lets limit this to end of game/half or back to back downs.
2. Never punt- Going for it on 4th down all the time. If it's 4th down and less than 2 and you're on their side of the field then I don't care. or late in the game obviously
***This has been the most complained about issue. If you are too deep to kick a FG you should punt unless it is 4th and short. The only time you should ever go for it is if you are behind and running out of time. If you have a lead or are tied late and it is farther than 4th and short & you can't kick a FG you should punt and pin them deep & play field position making them go the length of the field.
FG sliders and Punt sliders should make it more difficult. I have FG Pow/Acc at 0/20. I may even lower the accuracy depending. Hopefully FG's aren't money from the 35.
3. Always go for 2. This is cheese if you do this. We haven't had any trouble with this.
Disconnections
If the winning team disconnects- If you are winning the game, have the ball (or up by 9 or more) and as long as there isn't a major long-term injury, he gets one disconnect without penalty. If its within 8 points and the 4th quarter, the losing team can choose to continue the game vs the CPU. Anything, in-between is a do over.
If the losing team disconnects- If you are up by 14 or more at any point in the game, the winning team gets the choice to replay or finish out. If it is 10 or under, the winning team gets the choice to finish or replay only if it in the second half.
If there is a major injury (lasting three or more games, and the player is 84 OV+ or the starting QB) and the team losing that player disconnects. The other team can choose to continue the game.
If you disconnect twice during the same game, the other team has the option of finishing that current game (regardless of the above rules) or replaying it.
***We have been fortunate here. Everyone has worked with each other regarding re-starts since they've mostly been due to server/connection problems. There comes a time when one user can't help it if another user has connection problems and the show must go on. Everyone has been great here, though.
Recruiting Rules
If you have a NEED at Fullback you may recruit any FB in the database since there is a low supply of FB's each year. Come on EA.
Recruiting will be limited to the following:
In State
States your State Borders
SEC States (Arkansas, Alabama, Miss, Florida, Louisiana, Georgia, Tenn., Kentucky, and South Carolina)
Pipelines
Players that have you in the Top 10 (Players with a GREEN DOT)
For example, Texas wouldn't be In State for anyone, only Arkansas and Louisiana border it, none of the SEC teams are from Texas. So you can only recruit Texas if your Arkansas or Louisiana, your have Texas as a pipeline or the player has you in the 10 in interest.
***You can only sign the number of players that leave your school
- The first year, you will sign the amount that gets your team to 70. That will be 2 or possibly 3 over. The goal is to be as realistic as possible with a 70 man roster. You can't just sign someone for the sake of signing them and choose which one you wish to keep at the end of recruiting. This will help the other teams to be competitive throughout the country. If you encounter a problem with a walkon and you're one over, you have to move someone to the position where the walkon is and then cut the walkon. If you can't realistically move someone to that position then you keep the walkon and cut a recruit. A little management here will make this more than easy enough. Don't offer a guy and/or make promises to him if you don't have a spot. I think we'll all be fine with this.
***Again, everyone has been golden here too. I've had a few instances where a user went one over so we just cut one. No one has had continuous problems with over-signing which has been great.
***One issue has been lack of recruiting or strategy by some users. Some guys simply have not recruited and chose to let the cpu recruit for them...and it's starting to show in the records. Recruiting is a vital part of building a program and in the end it can effect a user's staying power. We're working on getting the absolute best in this OD and there may become a point where some don't make the cut due to recruiting shortcomings.
***You can fill your board with 35 if you desire. There is no rule that you can only offer however many holes you have or recruit only the # leaving so try to get the best you can get. Some may need to look at the recruiting thread here to get some tips as well.
Recruiting Penalties
Restriction or penalties for breaking the recruiting rules will be in this section.
***Like I said, no issues here, so far. As long as people don't try to remove players then re-schedule visits and re-offer, we'll be fine. That's cheesing and cheating and would likely get someone dismissed on the spot.
