* The Cream of the Crop PS3 NCAA10 OD*

Hey there fellas, I am an avid fan of the NCAA series, and i love online dynasty. I was a part of a few last year, but none really lasted too long much to my dismay. This year I am taking matters into my own hands and running my own OD.

FACTS:
1. We will play with 6 min quarters on heisman level. (may have to put up with early struggles)
2. Dynasty will begin as soon as names are available for the fixed roster file
3. We will advance every 48 hours barring certain circumstances
4. Any BCS conference team is open, but no teambuilder schools allowed
5. Coaches will be fired every two years based on a created points system (worst coach will have to go to a lower prestige team) this system was developed by endzoneking21, not me
6. My goal is for this OD to be as realistic as possible, but I do also want people to be playing user vs. user games. Therfore, I will slightly adjust some conferences depending on which schools are selected in order to get these matchups. My thought right now is that we will either have 3 conferences with 4 teams apiece, or 4 conferences with 3 apeice. Some are easy to mix together(acc-sec) but others like the pac10 might be difficult to do much with.

OUR COMMANDMENTS:
* The breaking of these rules will result in the player being ejected from the league, I don’t put up with cheesers.*
1. Thou shall not cheese or play cheap.
2. Thou shall not run the same play the whole game.
3. Thou shall not run the no-huddle all game.
4. Thou can only go for it on 4^th down in the 2^nd half or when within the last 2 minutes of the first half. I hate when I’m playing someone and they go for it on 4^th and 9 in the 2^nd qtr from their own 17 yard line. It’s just not realistic, and its not fun to play against.
5. Thou must super sim in user vs user games when up by 35+.
6. Thou shall not schedule FCS games, as they are a waste of time and represent no challenge whatsoever. Play Toledo instead.
7. Thou shall not restart games, if you lose power that’s a different story, but if you restart after losing, you will be removed from the league.( NO CRYBABIES)
8. Thou shall not join unless they are fully committed to and have enough time for this online dynasty. Yes I know that from time to time things come up and you won’t be able to get on to PSN, but aside from those rare occasions, you must be active.
9. Thou must have some skill @ this game, you don’t have to be great, but you should not be going 4-8 with USC in your first season. I hope for there to be a high level of competition in this OD.
10. Thou must recruit. Championship teams are built in the off-season, and recruiting is probably the most important aspect in all of college football. Recruiting is huge, and I think it is fun to steal recruits from your rival @ the last moment. (whoever takes USC take notice)

I want this dynasty to be realistic, and that is the basis for many of my rules such as the play calling and the recruiting. Coaches don’t just blow off recruiting, and they also don’t run the same exact play all game. I am currently working on making a website for this OD. We are striving for longevity here, I don’t want this dynasty to fizzle out after a short while, and I am looking for hardcore gamers that share my enthusiasm for NCAA.

alright i have updated the members list to see what we have so far, and we got a mix of teams. i want the dynasty to be as realistic as possible, but i also want there to be 3-4 users per conference. therefore i'm gonna try to move some teams into different conferences to accomodate that. idk this for sure, but what do u guys think we should do about conferences? to me its no fun to be in an od and just play the cpu every game, but i am open to suggestion

For NCAA 09 i was in 5 dynasties that went at least 4 whole seasons.
the common factor for success was a good commish, with rules he enforced. Solid advance times and communication. Also not going overboard with too many rules. Let Florida play like Florida, let mizzou no huddle, let west Va qb's run, ect...

All of those 5 dynasties will run on NCAA 10. I think my SEC team dynasty was falling apart at the end due to lower ranked teams getting frustrated and the Commish lost intrest after his QB play fell off the two years after Tebow. He kept him for his SR season somehow but the replacements didn't develop enough to keep the team elite.

So with all that i will replace that dynasty with yours if i can get in. Can i get:

definitely, we both are also in endzoneking's dynasty, and u obviously have a lot of knowledge and advice about the game, and u really seem committed, which is also a plus. i get what u r saying with the rules and let teams play the way their real life counterparts do, but some people just go overboard and use certain plays to exploit the game.

I know a dude who just asked me if anybody is making a dynasty.
really good sim player.
he was one of the best guys at running the ball I ever played.

i lost to him in a national championship game 30-26 in one dynasty.
we played in the outback bowl and he won 12-9 (yep all fgs) in another dynasty.

we met in the acc championship 4 years in a row in another dynasty(we weren't the only teams in the acc but we met for the acc title 5 of the 8 years the dynasty ran). Every game 14-17, 19-17, 14-10 to name a few, came down to the last possession. we played for and he won 4 straight ACC titles.
