Re: PS3 National Heisman Sliders Challenge Dynasty - Official Thread

I think it would be good to have 3 user games, but no more for the regular season. It would also help if we had them scheduled in the same week. We can schedule all of the nonconference user vs. user game in weeks 1 and 2 (or which ever two weeks work best). This will allow us to take a little more time for all of the user games, and then we can blow through the computer games because there will be no scheduling issues. That way even if it takes 4 days to advance for each of the first two weeks, we won't have any other scheduling problems until the bowl games come around. What do you guys think about that? Is that possilbe? I think it may help out.

Thanks for the input guys. It looks like most prefer 3 user games at this point. I'm still open to further discussion on that.

Jeremy, yeah, you have some good ideas. Generally I just post the top recruiting classes and pre-season top 25 and post-season top 25 rankings. I may also sprinkle a recruiting update on my team here or there. It's a bit too much for me to do more than that with everything else I have going on. I was thinking more in lines of how to do things within the game that wouldn't necessarily require more time. Nonetheless, all ideas are welcome.

Drake, thanks for clearing that up. Good learn you'll be back next season. Trying to make one final push for that national title, ugh?

Speaking of national titles, I see defending chumps FSU is in a good position to make it back to the title game. I believe we have the cpu Oklahoma and Michigan at 1 and 2. Jimuna's Auburn team is lurking at number 3 if one of them falters. AUburn should take care of the SEC East's cpu controlled Georgia team in the SEC title game. Without checking the Big 12 standings I think OU will have to get by Drake's Mizzou team in the conference championship. If Drake knocks them off that could be just enough to get FSU in the title game. I'm assuming of course that FSU will get by my 'Canes, which sadly shouldn't be a problem. It should be a wild finish down the stretch.

UGA is #1 thanks to HELU and Nebraska who i notice there's a few ppls heres favorite player. I have OU next then a ranked UCLA.. Hopefully with a UGA loss to AUB and a Mich loss i can get back in there. Looks like the real key to the title game is UNDEFEATED Boise st. Hey rollins, does that suck that we both lost to teams that used to be users but are no longer with us?..lol

I wouldnt count out the Bulls from USF yet. They have the possibility of running the table undefeated and get a BCS bowl tie-in from the Big East.

Is the big least allowed to play in the title game? I think we should set up a separate bowl game for you and Boise State...haha.

I think it hinges on Michigan losing. Then it's a crap shoot between the 1 loss teams. And yes, it does suck losing to a former user controlled team.

At least recruiting is coming along though. I see a lot of people are getting more recruits. It is really tough because I have a few that I might get...but could easily change their mind on me. It will definitely be a wild finish.

I saw robbie wrote that uGA is #1. Didn't you beat them? I think you played them this week and you won 38-34. If I'm not mistaken then uGA won't be #1 any longer. The key will definitely be whether Michigan loses.

Re: PS3 National Heisman Sliders Challenge Dynasty - Official Thread

Robbiedizzle, 58 to 7 looked just about right for the Oregon at USC matchup.

DeadlyCane, first despite a few users departing this fine dynasty, the fact that we are still 11 strong speaks volumes, and is a testament to the way you have set this dynasty up. Quality and respectful users, rules that are maintained, and you value other's opinions.

I had traded in my Madden 2009 awhile ago towards the prepurchase of Madden 2010, but I had no such interest in doing that with NCAA 2009, because although other games have arrived, I still very much enjoy this dynasty.

Regarding user games, I would agree with 3 as the maximum due to the difficulty it may be to schedule the games. That said however, if this may in fact be our final season, if more user games are scheduled perhaps there could be additional time permitted to get the games in. It is just a thought.

yea, thats true, but if i beat a #16 alabama team, then a top 10 clemson team, then a top 10 georgia team, all of this while michigan will be done way before i play my last 2 games, i think i will get in.
