I don't know if anyone has tried this themselves, but I just got the game yesterday...and guess what, it froze during a timeout....after I hit down on the d-pad. So, what I have been doing since that hasn't caused a freeze in 4 games afterward....when anyone calls a timeout, just hit start and then resume from the main menu...it'll drop you right back into the game. i use the quick subs on the fly so, don't know if this helps.....but it's working so far for me!

Very interesting, ive not noticed that before, wonder if we get rid of that issue completely.

this may be the dumbest question ever...but thought i would ask nonetheless....DOES THE DISC ITSELF MATTER?

the reason i aske is because the first disc i rented and I never had a freezing issue 7 games into dynasty. Now, i bought the game and in 5 games i have had 4 of them freeze. Its getting utterly frustrating but thats all i can think of.

ok, since that is a "no" what could be causing this sudden freezing of the game? As I said, the game i rented had 7 games without freeze, since "purchasing" the game i have had 4 freezes in 5 games!!!??? WTF?

Ok I've only had it freeze once or twice after i hit the start button. The major issue I have is after I play a game and start another one I get the error can't read disk. I hit ok then it proceeds to take me to the xbox 360 dashboard. Anybody else with a 360 having this issue? It's nt my 360 since i can play my other games just fine like Modern Warfare 2, Assasin's Creed 2, and Left for Dead 2 for example.

My theory is the Dynamic Updates.

And if anybody disproved that earlier in this thread, disregard that. I didn't feel like going back to read all the posts.

Again, no. The freeze issue is an engine glitch regards of DU. U can see confirm here. Is a random issue and nobody know the trigger factor. 09 was plagued too, and so Nba Live. Game issue, not disc, not hardware, 360 more prone to show it. period.
Devs know about the issue, they have already fixed on patch 2 for Nba 10. I hope they fix Ncaa too, but as i can see, its plain over for that franchise.
