The Freezing Issue

I would like to let everyone know that I have isolated the freeze issue. It is from using up on the d-pad during a timeout. I had about 5 straight freezes on me and I just knew it had to do with that and ever since I have quit doing that, I have had no freeze issues. I've played about 15 consecutive games without a freeze by just pausing to make subs or using the up arrow during the game. I am very happy about this because I was about to throw the game in the trash.

This is great news. My copy should arrive tomorrow and now I can hopefully play it without freaking out about freezes. I can handle a freeze every 20 or 30 games but some of you guys had me thinking I should just keep it sealed and get a full refund. Now I'll give it a chance.

I've made subs from the time out menu with no problems, but I've also not had any freezes at all since getting the game.

No freezes here yet, but never played Dynasty before today...
Now ive tried several games on Dynasty with subs trough menu (not d-pad menu's), no freeze at all.

I have a random story from a friend who also has the game on PS3 and has experienced freezing issues...

The game seemed to freeze on him in dynasty every 5 or so games, but he told me it froze during the game, not during a timeout, so what he's been doing is this...

Play 4 games. Delete game data. Play 4 games. Delete game data. Repeat.

He's been doing this for about 2 weeks now and hasn't had a single freeze and is already in the third year of his dynasty, so that's probably about 100 games or so. I can imagine this being an inconvience, because the game takes about 7-10 minutes to install but he says it's been running great.

Thought I would share this for anyone who is looking for a last resort fix.

Mine would freeze up during the game and also during the replays when the ESPN logo or CBS logo would pop up after the replay. I tried literally everything I could think of, and after I stopped hitting anything other than down on the d-pad (resume game) during a timeout, the game stopped freezing. I've had about 20 consecutive DYNASTY no freeze games. No stuttering either on replays since I play from the disc instead of the hard drive.

I noticed the same thing as well, I avoid the TO screen all together by hitting start, doing any subs I need too, then once I click start again to go back to the game I automatically leave the TO menu. Since I've been doing that I haven't experienced a single freezing issue.
